I'm going live with Jonathan Seller today to talk about creating this new passive income stream. Tune into find out how you can grow a successful online automated affiliate marketing business.
Hey everybody, how's it going? This is James Pelton here with good friend Jonathan Seller.
It is a Saturday. You can see unshowered. Jonathan was just telling me how
I like it. Cool. This is the style now that kids say is just the messy look.
Yeah. Don't take a shower. You guys might notice same shirt I was wearing yesterday.
It's becoming a theme for me. So we're here with Jonathan, excited to talk about selling with
Seller. And I kind of want to hear his journey and why he's going towards this and just,
you know, how does this fit in with the rest of what he's doing on crypto on YouTube and things
like that? What we need before we get going, need you guys please hit the like button.
Obviously, that's the currency of YouTubers. So we definitely appreciate you doing that.
And if you have questions or anything you want to talk about criticisms, calling us scammers,
whatever you guys want to do. I seen this is Saturday. I'm in a really good mood.
Happy to welcome all criticisms, questions, whatever you guys want to talk about. So
please hit like and let me know what you want to talk about. So this is Jonathan. We don't
need to do a introduction. We've had you on the channel several times before.
I would like to say, let's, let's start with, can you give us an elevator pitch of what selling
with seller is and kind of what's how does this fit in with the rest of your YouTube? Why'd you
go in this direction? Just tell us a little bit about that. Yeah. So first of all, thank you,
James, for having me on this channel again. I always, I mean, you are amazing and you've been
nothing but supportive. So definitely appreciate that. I'm selling with seller.com is a brand new
website I created. The header is helping people helping ordinary people sell anything online.
And the reason for that is I've had some success over the past seven years as an affiliate marketer
in multiple different niches. I've sold millions of dollars of product online. And over the past
seven years, everybody says, Jonathan, how do you do it? What are you doing, man? Hey, I want to make,
I want to leave my nine to five. What do you do? And I just decided, you know what? I'm going to
take all my knowledge, all the skills, everything that's working in 2023, and I'm going to put it
in a two day challenge style course. It's self-paced, but I think it'll take people about
two days going through the sessions. And the reason I'm doing this is I ultimately want to
work with people who after the challenge say, man, I really do think I can be successful with this.
And then I want to be their coach, their guide and help them through this whole process. So.
Okay, very cool. Yeah, no, and I really like this because a lot of people get,
well, a couple of things I want to say. A lot of people get confused. They think, oh,
James or Jonathan, you made all your money through crypto. And that's what a lot of people,
when they come to our channel, but for both of us, that's not primarily how we've made our money in
the past. And, you know, we have YouTube audiences and finding ways to monetize audiences is a big
part of what you're trying to do. I think a lot of people, when they hear affiliate, they get like
a bad taste in their mouth. They're like, oh, these, you know, affiliate that's scamming and
things like that. Just talk us through, is that the right way to think of affiliate or how,
what's the difference between a scam scammer, scammy, shilly affiliate person and a good
affiliate person? Talk us through that a little bit. Well, for me, and, and this, this goes to
most things in business. I really try to be unemotional from what's working and how does
the actual consumer behave? I think in business, the way there's two types of people. There's those
that judge those that are hacking trends and actually making money online. And they're the
ones that are consuming and scrolling and doing nothing with their lives. There's a lot of those
people. I'm focused over here on being a content creator and helping people make money online. So
I spent a lot of years judging people thinking, oh, I bet you, this is a funnel where you sign
up for this and then they're going to upsell you and dah, dah, dah. And I would, it's like, well,
guys, of course my business isn't going to be run on a $4.97 a challenge. But listen,
you have to ask yourself, are you a consumer or a content creator? Cause in today's world,
those that are being rewarded, those that are being financially free are creating something.
They're creating something. Okay. So I want to work with creators and I'm not really
hacking into a trend. Affiliate marketing has been around since the eighties. In fact,
majority of sales, uh, I think in e-commerce are going to be through affiliate marketers.
So the question I would ask your audience is why aren't people buying through you?
Why aren't, why isn't your affiliate link showing up embedded in a pinned post in Pinterest?
Why don't you have an Amazon associates account where it's, these are my favorite things. Why
aren't you creating on Instagram? Why are you still scrolling through reels? Like you're a
16 year old junior high girl. What are you doing with your life? Like these are the,
these are the people I want to associate with. So I have to build a tribe and the best way I can
build a tribe is have them go through this two day course because then it, then I filter out all
the weenie babies that are like, Oh no, this might require me to do something and to actually,
I want to, I don't want to work with them. And James, that's, what's great is you and I are
financially free where I don't need to make a buck off this thing. Uh, I never wanted to
create something where it was like, I'm trying to like make money off of these people. I am
honestly in a stage of my life cause I'm in my older thirties now where I want to help a thousand
people literally change their life. My, my friend, he's a, he's a worship pastor in Arizona. He just
messaged me a couple nights ago. His wife is sick and can't work a normal nine to five cause she
gets like seizures or whatever. And, uh, it's just dangerous for her to just whatever. So he's like,
bro, is this something that my wife could do at home and only like work one, two hours a day?
And I was like, yes. So immediately, um, in my mind I was like, this is your why you have to
help people like this, Jonathan. Uh, because there's a ton of people in all sorts of circumstances
and they just need the skills. So screw selling a course. Everybody sells a course. How about I
just give you the skills from someone who sold millions of dollars online so that you just
imitate what I did? You know, like that's the whole goal here. And, um, so yeah, that I get
really excited about that. I don't know about the scammy. You asked about like the scam, your guys
and Hey, buy my this or Hey, click the link below and whatever works. But I, I just know there's
billions of dollars that are sold in e-commerce for through, through people clicking affiliate
links. Everybody has an affiliate link. You have bought stuff through affiliate links.
I've bought stuff through affiliate links. This is what affiliate marketing is, you know?
Yep. Absolutely. And two things I want to say about that. First off, I love that you've kind
of, uh, stepped back a little bit and said, cause I've done this same thing where it's like,
okay, I want to help my audience. How have I actually been successful? And it's not been
the DGN. Like we, we didn't make millions of dollars. I mean, other than drip potentially
because of a lot, some affiliate stuff, honestly. Um, and so zooming out, how did I make a lot of
money and then how can I help my audience do the same type of thing? And where I think that
affiliate marketing is scammy is when you promote something you don't actually believe in. Amen.
Whereas if you're, if I like what I do with most of my videos, like this, for example,
I would have had you on without an affiliate link. I would have just said, Hey Jonathan,
come tell us what you're doing. But if there's an affiliate link, then it's like,
I'm going to use that because people I bring to you, it makes sense that I should get a portion
of that. So, and it's the new world, right? James were like there, there's no reason not to have an
affiliate link. It's a way of saying thank you to somebody. It's a way of, Hey, you, your audience,
you're exposing me to them. So think about what's happening here, guys. Cause this really is
affiliate marketing in a nutshell. James has an audience that is full of interests about wealth
creation, right? Like they want to make more money. Right? So Jonathan has a product. He created the
product. So in a way I'm an affiliate for my own company, right? Let's just say that,
but I'm selling a product that obviously I have full control over. And I believe in,
I'm connecting product with the audience. And that's what affiliate marketing is guys.
If you connect the right product with the right audience, you get rewarded with the commission.
I did this in the mattress space, James, that's where I started. I was a pastor and I was sitting
in my office just like this service planning. And I remember thinking about all the videos I was
watching at night and it was like Gary V and then I saw like all these young kids in their Lambos
and stuff. And I was like, that looks a lot of fun, but like, I'll never have that working in
church world to make the almighty buck. So I had two options, James. I could go down the hall to
my senior pastor's office and ask for a raise. Okay. Or I could say, Jonathan, you know what?
You've got extra time in the evenings. Why don't you learn some new skills?
And that's what I decided to do. It led me toward learning how to create
landing pages, funnels, ads, high retention views on YouTube, psychology of marketing and sales,
listening to more podcasts from Gary V and different people that understood
how this modern e-commerce world was working. And I picked a niche. I was in the market to
buy a mattress. I ended up buying from Purple Mattress. And then-
Do you have a link for that?
What's that?
Do you have a link for that, an affiliate link?
Actually kicked me out of their affiliate program. I became their number two affiliate
in the United States. That means I was selling millions of dollars of products
online because I had figured out how to get my review video above the fold. I don't know
if you know what that means, but it just means like when you type in YouTube, Purple Mattress
Review, if you're above the fold, meaning you don't have to scroll anywhere, you're like one
in the one to five column of reviews. So they saw that and they're like, he's not even spending any
ad money. And it was all organic. And that to me was my test where I was making hundreds of
thousands of dollars from one stupid iPhone review video. And then I pivoted and now you can create
content. You don't have to show your face. You don't have to be some like, hey, what's up guys?
There's so many great AI tools that we cover inside the two-day challenge. That's another
thing is there's a lot of the scammy stuff too. There was a guy charging $2,500 for an affiliate
marketing course. I took his challenge and I was like, a lot of this stuff is dated. Oh my gosh.
There we go. Found it. Honest Purple Mattress Reviews, 2019. There you go. That's younger
Jonathan Sellers a little bit. So awesome. Let me say hi to some of my community here. A bitkey,
thank you. 2.30 AM. Man, I appreciate you being here. Grab a cup of coffee. 10.45 here,
but it's Saturday morning. I had kind of a late night with the kids. We're doing a Dragon Ball Z
marathon. So it's kind of a little bit of a late night, but Green Llama, good to see you. Funny
Turo. Richie, good to see you back in KC. Yeah, my brand. This is my favorite shirt, by the way,
guys. I love this shirt. I wear it like three days a week. James, do you have an affiliate link for
that? I don't, but I should probably get one. Yeah, Teespring. I'll find out what the brand is.
Watching from Jamaica, fellas. Love you, Jonathan. There you go. Good to see you.
James likes to merge in with the furniture. Yeah, exactly. Like camo. First question. Well,
actually, before we get to questions about the course, about what we're doing here,
tell us about when people sign up for this. So it's $4.97. Tell us about how much it costs.
What do they get? What's it going to go through? And then what are next steps after that?
Yep. So there is no obligation for next steps. Why I charged $4.97 was because I know that the
right people after taking it are going to say, I want more of this. Now, that doesn't mean everybody
will, and I'm okay with that. The course is designed to give you enough to actually just
get started on your own way, on your own affiliate marketing business. So the way the upsell works
is I actually disclose it in one of the courses. And then I say, hey, here's what's going to
happen. We have three offers. You can set up a call with me. And if they want to set up a live
Zoom call with me, it's a group Zoom call. And then we talk about their business plan.
They decide if they want to pick one of three offers and they go from there. So I wanted to
do it in the most, like you said, least scammy way where it's like, oh, he's going to upsell
and call me. No, no, no. This is only if you reach out to me, you schedule a call. Awesome.
If not, enjoy the $5 course. It's less than a cup of coffee.
Well, and I totally, I can see, correct me if I'm wrong, but what, so if you don't charge anything,
if it's a free thing, you end up with a million people who have no interest. They're not actually
serious about anything. So I like the $4.97 is like, okay, anyone who's really interested,
five bucks isn't going to keep you out, but it's going to really filter out bots and people who
are just like, oh, I just want to kick some tires or whatever. But then you can upsell then to,
if you're really serious. So five bucks to kind of get a feel for it, see if there's something
you really want to focus on. And then there's an upsell if you really want to dive into this.
Yeah. And the upsells guys are anywhere from, what is it? $5.97 to $2,400. And that includes
the, which is awesome. We can talk about this. You will have the master resale rights for the
course that I'll put you in with over, we have over 2,800 people in our community right now.
So I actually, two days from now, we'll have my co-creators of our next steps course on.
They are super successful. We've merged our communities. We have over 2,800 people in that
course. You will get the master resale rights for that course, which means you can sell it,
make it your own, white label it, whatever you want. And it's all about digital marketing,
setting up funnels, email marketing, traffic growth on social. You'll have all of that.
And then I have a content team. So for people that follow me at sold by seller, you're like,
how do you do your reels? How do you have time to post? How do you do? I have a content team
that you'll have access to. So two of the three packages, you're getting content produced for you,
done for you. I just wanted to make it like a almost 90% automated business for people.
Okay. Very cool. Next question I was going to ask, well, first off RX Rob says,
Dragon Ball Z marathon. That sounds like a blast. Yes. It is very fun. I'm glad to relive,
although I forgot Dragon Ball Z has some inappropriate stuff in it that I
have to, to quickly explain to my young kids what some of the stuff they were talking about.
Um, what was I going to ask? I feel like it was really important. Oh yes. Does this work? So I
think a lot of people who are talking about affiliate sales, they might say, Oh yeah,
easy for you to say you've got, you know, multiple, you got, uh, six, five figures worth
of subscribers on YouTube. Surely you can do affiliate sales. I have nobody. I can't do it.
What would you say? Do you need an audience to do something like this?
How many subscribers did I had when I decided I'm going to start a YouTube channel?
I mean, why don't people ask the right questions? This is where you have to call yourself out.
You're just being a lazy bullcrap troll. When you talk like that,
like Jonathan seller started with zero subs. James, how many subs did you start with?
Uh, yes. I zero. Yep. Oh, did we all start with zero? Oh, okay. The difference between
all the people crying about, well, Oh, it works for you. Like as a man, I don't talk like that
anymore. And James doesn't either. You're looking at two guys that have ideas and then implement
them. We don't cry and say easy for you to say. And I'm talking like that because sometimes men
need to be talked to like that because we just, we allow ourselves to get lazy and settle and
complain. And while I have a nine to five, I don't have time in the evening. So did I,
when I made my dumb mattress reviews, well, I might get made fun of. I don't like being on camera.
Awesome. Every person in the church that was on my staff made fun of me because they saw me making
a mattress video. What they didn't see was me driving down to Kentucky and picking up my dream
car, which at the time was a Dodge Viper and paying for it in cash. What type of human art
do you want to be James? I have got the money. Wow. This is a flip it. Yeah,
no, thank you. Thank you for that inspiration. No, I mean, you're totally right though.
Um, so I have a lot of people who pitch me ideas and things. Um, but what, there's not a lot of
people. There's a lot of people with ideas and things like that. There's not a lot of people
that execute and actually just go do something. Um, again, there's a lot of reasons to tell
yourself, no, I can't do it. There's a lot of, Oh, I would do it, but I don't have the time.
I don't have the followers. I don't have yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. There's, I mean, there's
a million different excuses to use. Um, but the people who actually succeed, even if it's not
the greatest idea, people succeed with not great ideas. If they just do it, they execute it. Um,
that's what sets you apart from a lot of other people so far. Um, I've had some people, uh,
and I've gotten on a next steps call with them. One of them was a culinary, uh, cook. One of them
was like an expert dog trainer. And I'm like, none of these guys are, are at the, at this moment,
leveraging the power of their expertise. You shouldn't sell products. Like James said that
you're not passionate about that you don't own, but, but for people that are experts in certain
areas, why don't you have your own product? You know, uh, a year ago I created a, how to go from
zero to 15,000 subscribers in six months or something. Now, am I Mr. Beast on YouTube? No,
you know, I'm not the biggest channel, but I wanted to just teach. I, I went after a small
audience and I said, here's what I did. Well, enough people were interested in that topic
and they ended up, uh, getting into that. So there is, you know, proof. I think when people
just create something and see one person actually take them up on an offer, they get, it becomes
empowering. It becomes life changing. And that's what I really want for people is to like, just
get your first commission check. It will become the addiction of your life. Cause you'll be like,
if I can get one, I could get two, I can get three. You just start repeating the process.
It works in any niche. But, but like you said, the key is I want to talk about things that I
know that I actually am proud of. Like, so in my mind, like when I wake up in the morning,
I'm not like, Oh, I got to go shill a course on the James Pelton show. Here I go. That would
suck. I would hate my life. But in my mind, you know what I'm doing right now? I'm like,
I'm inviting people to come get a legit set of skills that will radically transform their life
when implemented. I know that to be true. I know to be true. I'm seeing it happen,
not just in my own life, but people that actually, uh, are implementing these things.
They're like, this is crazy, man. It actually works. It's like, well, yeah. Why do you think
I put my name out there on something that's full of crap? You know, I'm not doing that.
Yeah. Well, and really I was thinking about it really affiliate sales is just becoming a
salesperson for that. Uh, whatever it is that you're selling, you're just becoming a say it's
the same as a sales commission check. You know, if you became a salesperson for purple mattress,
for example, you love purple mattress and said, Hey, I want to become a salesperson for purple
mattress. That's essentially all that you're doing. You're getting a commission check the
same way. Yeah. So if I, if your audience is out there, like ask yourself, what are some things
that your, your friends are like, that's really weird that you're into that. Like, what is that?
What is that thing? Build an empire on that. If it's Dragon Ball Z, build an empire on Dragon
Ball Z. You know how many affiliate products there are, you know, Lego has a massive affiliate
system. And right now I could literally, if you take my course, you can have access to a VA in
the Philippines. They will take your affiliate link from Lego. They'll go copy and paste all
the images on brand new products from Lego. They'll use chat GPT. They'll do write-ups on
that product. They'll post them on your behalf. All of this is happening. You're doing nothing,
but all day people are clicking on your dumb affiliate link from Lego. And guess what? A week
ago, you were just sleeping this week. You're sleeping and making money and you didn't do any
extra work. You just figured out the systems that actually are working. So now when you watch those
guys with the Lambos, you can stop judging them and go, Oh, that's how they afford their Lambos.
They actually have businesses working in the background while they sleep.
Like last night, James, I was sleeping, right? I wake up multiple people have purchased. Now
mind you, they purchased a $4.97 course. So it's not like I'm getting rich off that,
but I don't care. I'm happy that I'm while I'm sleeping, my systems and processes are working
for me. And James, I'm sure, you know, the exact same feeling you wake up. You're like, Oh my gosh,
somebody bought this. Or it's just, I can't imagine sleeping and not being able to make money.
Yeah. And doesn't make money. Like what world are you living in? Get out of like, you gotta
go beyond your nine to five. Your nine to five is not going to make you rich. Your nine to five is
a lie. You got to actually do something to change your life. You're not going to get rich in a nine
to five. Yep. Warren Buffett said, if you can't find money or if you can't find ways to make
money while you sleep, by the way, Warren Buffett, second most famous person in Nebraska after James
Pelton. But he said, if you can't find ways to make money while you sleep, you'll be working
until you die. So totally agree with that. Also one other thing, motivation. Proverbs 14, 23,
I live by this. All hard work brings a profit. Mere talk leads only to poverty, dude. Amen.
I love that. That's a great problem. Read it again. I'll read it again for those in the back
for those in the back boys. No, no, no. This, this verse will move the boys to become men
and women. And well, yeah, I guess in today's world you can become any sex you want. Let's go.
Right. Yeah. Let's talk politics after this. That'd be great. But yeah, all hard work brings
a profit. Mere talk leads only to poverty. So really in all aspects of your life, whether it
be business or I hear this a lot of time in, uh, fitness and things like that. There's a lot of
people. I want this, I want this, I want this, but then they're not doing anything to get towards
that. So I always appreciate that about you pointing people to that. Um, a couple of questions
from the audience. Let's bring somebody pitches you something that doesn't require any work
whatsoever. Like that's a scam. Yep. Yeah. Hey, absolutely. Totally agree. Um, after the $5 two
day challenge, I assume the further, further courses are also buy-ins. How much are they?
Do you, you kind of went through this a little bit, but do you want to talk specifically about
like what next steps are after this two day challenge? Yep. There is no next step. It's
only if you reach out to me, you'll schedule a live zoom call. It'll be you and probably some
others on there. Cause I don't want to do one-on-one zoom calls all day. You'll pick a block of time.
We meet, we'll talk about your business plan. I'll get an understanding of who you are,
what you're wanting to do. And I'll tell you straight up if I think it'll work or not.
And then, uh, if you do want to move forward, you will get, um, either the option option to work
and just get our, our next steps course, but you'll also get master's resale rights. That's
$600. Or if you want to work with my content team and get reels and all that made for you,
it's anywhere from $600, 1400 or $2,400. So there's something for everybody in there.
Okay. Very good. Um, do you have other high ticket products for us to resell,
or do you just point us in the right direction to find our own?
Yes. There's, there's multiple places to go to find high ticket products. Um, my,
my actual court, the course that you buy can actually become your,
I'm giving people their first digital product to sell, getting a hundred percent commission. Okay.
So, you know, you can, you can resell that or you can resell physical products. We teach you
everything inside the course, uh, not the two day challenge, but the next steps,
there's all sorts of ideas in there of products you can sell and how to sell them.
Okay. Very good. Well, Hey, any other, we can keep this short and sweet. We could go for an hour.
We could talk about politics and religion and gender theory. There are all sorts of
directions we could go, but, um, well, any final words for people or, and next steps is just,
if you want to do the two day challenge, um, again, I'll, I'll post that link.
Um, it is an affiliate link from me, um, that I set up with Jonathan. Um, so I get
something. I don't even often, I don't even know what I'm going to get. Um, I don't pay a lot of
attention to the details. Um, but any final words or I got words of inspiration for our Saturday
here. Well, whenever I heard people talk about their own product, I immediately met with
skepticism. Right. And rightly so, because there are a lot of people out there. Um, I'm not getting
rich off of driving people into something that's $4 and 97 cents. So hopefully people can get a
sense of who I am and, uh, you know, why is he selling it for so cheap? People kept saying that
even the people have taken the course or like you're under, you're underpricing this. Like you
put a lot of time, effort, energy into this. And it's like, well, yeah, that's exactly why I did
that. Because I know just like you go on a date with a girl, if you do a really good job on the
first date, you know what happens? 90% of the time, James, tell me you're a married man. What
happens? I don't even remember, but I, you get married, I guess. Yes. It goes from first date
to full on household full of kids. Exactly. Yeah. Um, but that's, that's the plan here.
And I'm going to teach people exactly the systems processes and skills that I use to sell millions
of dollars online. So would, if I gave that all away for five bucks, is it worth it? That's the
only question you need to leave this AMA. What most people will do is they'll search YouTube.
They'll get inspiration and motivation for years and years to come. And they will never have a
step-by-step process on how to implement their own business. That's what I'm offering people.
I'm proud of it. I stand behind it for $4 and 97 cents over the 4th of July weekend,
people can move from just, I'm going to sit and get fat eating burgers to like,
I'm changing my whole mentality. I'm going to be a creator. I'm going to do something.
I'm giving better than a college education away for five bucks. In my opinion, um, there's,
this will be for the people that are so frustrated in their life. Cause Tony Robbins,
you've got to see the frustration of, uh, your life way. It's got to be hurt way more
than the future pain of having to change. Um, and, and there will be someone out there that
watches your channel. Maybe not too, but there'll be one person watching this and I can't wait to
have that story. Yeah, absolutely. And I wish, I wish you guys could see my marker board right
now. I thought about trying to move my camera over to see it. I have, I have not been through
the two day course yet. Uh, but it's on my to-do list for today. I have a to-do list and right
here on my marker board, it says go through two day course, uh, from Jonathan. So, uh, I'm excited.
So anybody in the audience who's going through this, anyone from my community who's going through
it, um, feel free to hop in telegram too. And we can talk about it as we're going through it. Um,
cause I want to know, you know, I'm, I think you do a better job at affiliate stuff than I do,
honestly. Uh, so I want to learn myself from that. So thanks man. Well, I'm, I'm proud of it.
Like everybody that's taken it and nobody's been like, oh, that was just inspiration and motivation
like screw. You don't need motivation. Okay. Go watch Gary Vees. You'll, he'll, you'll get
motivation. You just need like fricking build a business online. Let's go. Yep. Absolutely.
So here's a question from Akib Habib. Uh, when you create a course, do you have any prevention
measure from someone copying the information and sharing it for free? Well, we actually,
um, someone could do that with my two day challenge. I would just look at them and
feel flattered by that. Um, you know, that's what a waste of a life copying someone else,
but what to Akib, this is why when someone signs up in our next steps for the course,
take it. It's a hundred percent yours anyways. It's as if you are the content creator of that
course. You can sell it. You can do whatever you want with it. That's unheard of. We're giving it
all away. Instead of you selling my course and getting like a commission off of it, you will
have the full rights. Now, if you want to sell the two day challenge and our packages with content
team, like what James is doing as an affiliate, you will get, um, a commission for that as well.
So there's two options. Okay. Very cool. Maybe again, maybe that's your first affiliate,
uh, product is going to be the, the seller two day challenge or something like that. So,
well, Hey, this is awesome audience. Appreciate you guys very much. Thank you for coming on,
on a Saturday. Um, I really love this because I've been looking for ways. Um, a lot of people
come to me again. One of the most common questions I get is if I have $500, what can I invest in to,
you know, get financially free. And I say, there's no set, there's no crypto that you're
going to invest $500 in and become financially free. I tell people you need to find a way to
make more than $500. That's the way to become financially free. And I think this is one of
the ways that you could do it. Affiliate sales is, you know, building an audience,
those types of things. That's not for everyone for, for sure. But like you were saying, there's
ways now there's a lot of faceless YouTube channels. So it's like, there's any excuse
you can come up with and there's a solution to that. Right. And there's all sorts of platforms
now, like with Pinterest and Etsy and LinkedIn and Twitter and pick your poison. Um, like even
James, our story, like I started in YouTube. I didn't pick crypto like this. Here's some like
tactical stuff. Crypto is too vague. DeFi is still vague. I picked drip and I did content day
after day after day on this stupid thing called drip. Don't no offense. Like I call everything
stupid. Drip's been amazing. You know, I still make a couple of bucks every day. Um, so super
grateful to all the shout out to the drip community. But I became known around this thing,
guys, that's it. What is your thing? What is your thing right now that you're like,
I love planting grass seed. I love lawnmowers. I love, you know, what it workouts and playing my
guitar. And like, dude, I'm telling you, there's a tribe that will listen to you and they will
not pay attention to me. Same with James. People love James. They don't like me. People like me.
They don't like Jack. Like this is how the world works. Instead of crying about it, go find your
tribe as small as it might be. It's enough for you to quit your nine to five. I bet you I'd put
money on that. Absolutely. Well, Hey, great talk. Really appreciate it. I mean, it is fitting with
the 4th of July weekend coming up again. If you were going to spend a day. Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah.
Happy Canada day. Yeah. I totally forgot about that. So, but yeah, if you were planning on
spending your weekend or your holiday, just hanging out, I mean, there's nothing wrong
with hanging out, obviously spend time with family, things like that, but we waste a lot
of time. I was reading, uh, that the average American spends like 1,700 hours watching TV
a year, 1,700. That's almost a full-time job. They're the ones crying in the YouTube comment
section about how this is a scam and you're a scam and you're James creates, you don't,
that's the difference between you and James. Yes. And the red hair and wearing the same
shirt multiple days in a row. But yeah, there's other James. What do you think? I want to ask you
just from business owner and business owner, like, do you believe that everybody can be
their own boss, like have their own business or, or do you have a view of humans as like,
no, there's just some leaders in life and there are some sheep followers like leaders make money
off the sheep followers, but that's, there'll always be that two tier. Or do you see everybody
as everyone has equal opportunity to become a leader to some degree? Like, yeah, no, I think
what I found is some people, uh, aren't as modest. Like I was a desperate to get out of my nine to
five. Like I was, I would've done anything. I was staying up till three in the morning code.
I was like, I want to be done with this nine to five. I'm, I'm tired of it. And I've,
I've worked with other people who I'm like, Hey, you could do something like this, but they don't
want it as badly. So they're like, I'm kind of okay with my nine to five. I prefer to get out
of it. But, um, cause when, when you're going to put in a lot of work into something, you have to
have a really strong motivation to kind of back up. Like we don't have unlimited willpower.
Dude. That's so true. Cause I remember like I used to be a sales trainer
and I would meet with different business owners and I would talk about like their sales teams
and their performances and stuff. And I honestly was shocked at the, the number of CEOs that were
just okay with like plateaued growth, even if their company hadn't grown from year to year.
Like I always thought CEOs wanted to go like up in sale. A lot of them, James, we, we do as humans,
we coast, we settle and we're okay with it. So that's a good way of describing it. Like Jonathan,
not everybody is honestly hungry, hungry. They'll talk like they're, they're hungry,
but they're not, they're totally fine with eating their Taco Bell. And I I'm saying that
cause I had Taco Bell last night. Um, but they're okay with just like wherever they're at. They're,
they're cool with it. Yep. Absolutely. So, Hey, always great talking with you. You're always
welcome back on the channel. Appreciate it. Appreciate you audience. You're amazing. Appreciate
you, Jonathan. You're great. Uh, two day, uh, one last call to action. The two day
challenge is up, ready to go. There's the link for it. Um, it's four 97 if you want to get started
and then, you know, it can be, um, the first step towards changing your life. I mean, if,
if you want to go that direction, um, this is a good place to start. So thank you all have a safe
3rd and 4th of July. Happy Canada day. Appreciate you all. And we'll talk to you later.
