1. Thank you. Thank you for inviting me to share this day. It's
both a joyous day for me and a sad day. A sad day that we have
to yet again mark a persecution. But a wonderful day that we
can do it freely here.

2. I looked back and I saw the wonderful sea of blue and
yellow. The colors of the sea and the sky. Right? And the color
of the sun, the sun that nourishes all of us. But I know that all
of you have suffered in order to leave and come here.

，也是天空的颜色，对不对？还有太阳的颜色——那滋养着我

3. So I think of all of you as angels. And in my culture, we say
that we stand on the shoulders of our ancestors. And I know
that you do as well. I am particularly grieved that this year the
CCP has said that people in China cannot visit the graves of
their ancestors, or honor those who have practiced following
God.
所以在我心里，你们都是天使。在我的文化里，我们有一句话

4. And I have learned that you have a bill before Congress to
protect the practitioners of Falun Gong. And we will commit to
help you, because it is necessary. Truth is always necessary.
Forbearance is always necessary. Compassion is always
necessary.
我也了解到，国会目前有一项旨在保护法轮功学员的法案。我
们承诺会全力协助你们，因为这是必要的。真，永远是必要的

5. But I think it's really wonderful that you share in this
country. This country is now yours, and as those buildings
stand behind us like guardians, we will be your guardians.
