Monochromatic Paint Technique on a Mid-Century Style Dresser

I thought I would try something a bit different with these two damaged laminate dressers. The tops of both were water damaged and had many, many raised areas to deal with. I recently bought a jar of Fusion Mineral Paint's new color Hazelwood, a warm medium grey, and instead of doing something "typical" for me, I opted to try out a monochromatic look using only that color... painting the top and sides, and doing a wash on the drawers. I've done it before with whites and off-whites but nothing darker, so it's definitely a bit of an experiment!
