'An epic triumph' - King of Spain hails world champions

It has been an odyssey. The journey has been long, not only in this phase or the final stretch, Also that long with 48 teams. It has been an epic triumph. You have suffered. You returned somewhat bruised and tired. Have you inserted any criticism? Already faded away. But what is all that compared to the joy of bringing you here? The cup to the house. You've already known how to bring your strength in, your glove the audacity. And always with your technique's approval, the control and domination of the field combining head and heart. Arm yourself with patience without despair. And being faithful to your style and system typical. You have been pineapple, team solidary, generous, And moreover, you have won with great dignity. You carry those two stars forever How brightly they shine for all of Spain. But you are all a stellar and legendary ensemble for the history of our football and Spanish sport. You have won. Congratulations.
