Spain’s World Cup-winning team celebrated their historic triumph with millions of passionate fans in Madrid.

The players travelled through the Spanish capital on an open-top bus before joining a huge celebration at Cibeles Square. Captain Rodri lifted the World Cup trophy as fans cheered, sang and celebrated Spain’s victory.

Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres, Nico Williams, Marc Cucurella and the rest of the squad joined the celebrations, with Cucurella even playing drums and leading the crowd in a viral song.

Authorities estimated that close to two million people gathered along the parade route and at Cibeles Square to celebrate Spain’s World Cup triumph.
