Great Horned Owl is the most common owl in the Americas. This powerful big bird is distinguishable with feather tufts on its head and bright yellow eyes. I am using traditional Chinese watercolor to paint this bird.

Paper: half-ripe Rice paper 38cm x 38cm (半生熟宣卡紙 )
Chinese ink
Yellow color 藤黃
Orange color 珠膘
Scarlet/China red 大紅
