Bam, Bill, Alex, and Mike, on the airwaves, giving what you like, eight topics on fleek,
11 o'clock every day of the week, sweet, on Fox.
Oh, look at that, look at that, look at that, you see the graphic, the little transition,
it's Bam, it's Bill, it's Mike, and in the featured seat, man, I feel like every time
I introduce you, I start running off the nicknames, Freddie Mitchell's in the building, you got a
caption, it was B-M-F, alright, alright, yeah, yeah, I like that, man.
I think they didn't change the lettering, because they're trying to stay out of HR.
I got to be, Freddie, I got to be at the end, because, you know, Mike, you've been here,
right, so, you know, it's kind of, you know, where it is right now.
Yes.
Until we get the Freddie show.
It's in the works.
Is that what we're working on?
You're the producer.
What would the Freddie show be, man?
Just this?
We can make it happen.
Yeah, just, you know, a little bit more candid, you know, and I really want.
So, it has to be a nighttime show.
You said a little bit more?
Yeah, yeah.
Alright, I'm here for that, I'm here for that.
So, it would have to come on, like, after the Mike show.
Yeah.
Later on at night, that one's got to be.
Does it really?
Freddie after hours.
Freddie after hours, that might be too far.
Like, Freddie Krueger kind of stuff.
Right, I was going to say, Freddie after hours might be too far.
Too much?
That's true, if you don't, you don't.
Get somebody in trouble.
You good?
Yeah, life is great, man.
Philadelphia, I love you.
It's been a string of events in Philadelphia, and I've been to every single one of them.
That's what's happened.
I believe that.
It's been amazing.
I believe that.
You're out there.
I am definitely out there, you know.
Some of us have to work twice as hard, you know.
Okay.
Some of us have to go and grind it out.
I believe that that is something that all of us can relate to.
Philadelphia has taught me that grind.
Okay.
Go get it.
Alright, go get it.
Can we pull that graphic up one more time?
Do we have it ready to go?
I'm putting that graphic on my Instagram.
Look at that.
Okay.
That's awesome.
Alright.
He gave us a young Freddie, too.
Yeah, look at that.
There's no gray in there.
No gray.
Alright, so we jump into all the topics, obviously.
Some of them we started off with because I wanted, you probably, well, we haven't experienced
the first topic.
I'm pretty sure you have.
So Jalen Brunson, alright.
Jalen Brunson.
Mike's a New Yorker and a Knicks fan.
Why do you always say that like it's a bad thing?
Because it is a bad thing.
Yes.
And I knew I had backup today.
Come on, man.
But it is a bad thing.
Because you know what?
It really pays you.
That part.
New York raised me.
But still, though, you got to compromise and say, okay, I love New York.
I love the energy.
I love the vibe.
But when it comes to organization.
But I support the Philly teams, too, man.
Alright.
You know what I'm saying?
Can we compromise with that?
But I do.
Whoever wins at the time.
There you go.
You know what I mean?
If you up, I'm up with you.
If you down, I'll catch you when you get back up.
New Yorker.
Eagle for life.
I am obviously a diehard fan.
So Jalen Brunson.
Probably New York's favorite son right now, right?
They are loving him.
He's at Fanatics Fest.
And we were talking about that before.
People are paying $1,000 to take a picture or get something signed by him.
And it's sold out.
Highest price in the building.
And there are some big names there.
So one of those people who paid $1,000 approached him at Fan Fest.
Asking him to sign a Giants helmet.
And this happened.
I am not signing that.
I can't.
It's against my religion.
We're going to make you sign a Giants helmet?
I'm going to write Go Birds on it.
That piece of paper is probably like, yo, I paid $1,000.
So I think the piece of paper is what they want you to write on the thing.
He says, I can't do that.
I cannot sign a Giants helmet.
And whatever he signed, he ended with Go Birds on the signature.
That's crazy.
I love that.
So you loved it.
Yes, of course.
Okay, now shouldn't he have that loyalty to New York that you're talking about?
And they're up and they're winning.
That seems more like an us move.
He wasn't raised there, though.
Okay.
But according to Freddie, he gets paid there, though.
So, yeah, he should.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
But the whole thing about that is, though, it's football.
It's not basketball.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's different, like, if somebody had to sign a Sixers thing.
I got to say the same thing.
You know what I mean?
You know, I'm like, no, I ain't signing that.
You can walk away from the thousand.
Right.
Well, I mean, and contractually, though, you know, he signs whatever he wants.
Any helmet or whatever else for a thousand dollars.
I'm just mad at the thousand dollars it cost to sign.
Well, we had that.
We had that discussion.
So it's interesting.
So would you do that if they came to you?
You're an eagle for life.
You're at FanFest and they want you to sign a Knicks jersey.
But you're a Sixers fan.
Diehard Sixers fan.
Absolutely.
You'll sign it?
Absolutely.
No issues.
I'll sign anything.
You have to understand all this fanfare and all this crazy events or whatever else.
They pay these players like $100,000, $200,000 to come and do it.
Do they?
Yeah.
So the thousand dollars is charged by the fanatics and all these other people.
You know, the players don't have anything to do with it.
You know, people are like, oh, he's a multimillionaire and he's charging us a thousand dollars a signature.
No, I mean, that's what I said.
I love how Jalen Brunson handled it, though, because he did it.
I said I would sign it, but he signed it and respected his team.
He went, go birds.
I'm not going to sell out for a thousand.
I'm the one who came in there with the helmet that made it even fly that he did it.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, he gave him a Giants helmet.
He signed it and he wrote go birds on it.
Who else is going to have a Giants helmet signed by anybody that says go birds on it?
Jalen Brunson, man.
He just continues to extend his legend of a quality player, classy dude,
stays loyal to what he believes in, took a pay cut for the team,
and then they assemble a championship team.
Just a good dude.
And if I didn't already respect him, the go birds puts it over the top for me.
Now, you make an interesting point.
So they pay a hundred thousand dollars.
They pay money for these athletes to be here.
So we got the list of what they were paying certain athletes,
or what certain athletes were charging, or what Fanatics was charging
for pictures or signatures.
And it was interesting.
So if we can go through it.
So there's Jalen Brunson.
It was $1,000, $937 for a picture, signature, whatever with Jalen Brunson.
Gronkowski, $409.
I don't know where the nine comes from.
Mike Tyson, $228.
Seems a little low for a legend, but okay.
Gronkowski over him.
Ocho Cinco, $87.
Why didn't they make it $85?
I don't know.
For his number.
I guess that's actually what our director upstairs was saying.
Yeah, I don't know.
Gronkowski, $409.
How does that break down work?
But so that brings me back.
When you say those people say, these are millionaires.
Like Chad Ocho Cinco's got money.
And now he's doing the podcast.
He's making more money.
He's notoriously cheap by his own admission.
Why is it worth a millionaire's time to be there when somebody's charging $87 for a signature?
You're looking at the 87.
He's getting paid really like $100,000.
But why would they pay him $100,000 if they could only generate 87 a signature?
Why would you pay?
Because we don't know the real numbers and what they're really making.
That's just like organization.
Wow.
He paid him $50 million a year to do this.
How much is the owner making to be able to pay him $50 million?
People don't look at it like that.
And I'm like, no, it ain't about what we make as athletes.
This is what the owners can afford.
It breaks down.
You figure every athlete or every signature ain't gonna be worth the same amount.
Chad's signature is not as hot as Jalen's signature right now.
So if they're paying him $200,000 to Jalen, Chad ain't getting $200,000.
Get $15,000.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't know what the number is, but I don't think it's the same.
It's definitely not the same.
Chad's been around and has been to a lot of them, a lot of these events.
Brunson hasn't never been to it, so you can hike it up.
And he's top of the game right now.
And he's coming off a championship.
What's the figure?
I'm gonna get to him.
What's your figure?
They call you and say, Mike, we need you to sign at FanFest.
They're gonna charge $17.50.
This is what you're looking at is all I got.
Well, they gotta pay you to get there.
$25,000, I'm in the building.
$2,500, I might be in the building.
That's a lot of money.
I gotta say $2,500, I might be in the building.
I'm in the building.
I'm basing it off what they're paying these guys.
You can come sign for two hours.
But I guess, you know, they're probably gonna get $2 a signature from me.
So I gotta come in at like $2,500.
This is the reality.
I'm coming.
Give me $1,500 and lunch.
That's what I'm saying.
I'll be there for two hours.
That's valid.
Yeah, that's valid.
All right, Freddie Mitchell, what's your figure?
Oh, for that right there?
Yeah.
Oh, I'm gonna have to get him with a quarter.
$25,000.
To show up?
See what I'm saying?
And he probably could get it.
So he can get it.
So that's why I had to knock mine down to $2,500.
I'm like, he got a little history.
We got the DMF show, though, man.
We'll sign $2,500.
And we'll give you BAM t-shirts.
There you go.
We'll sign all the things.
He's Jalen, I'm Chad.
I don't get $87 a shot, but I'm here.
All right, we need to go ahead and take a break.
Some of the comments coming in.
That was our question of the day.
What do you think about Jalen?
How he handled all this?
Oh, natural beauty.
You know, Eagles fans are passionate.
They're not going to trade on their team.
So he did write, go birds.
It was in good fun.
And the people still got the signature.
So it's a win for everybody.
Didn't we have one some time ago?
Yeah, they're running back for Derek Henry.
It was the picture of Cooper Dejean tackling him.
And he refused to sign it.
That one, I understood why he didn't sign it.
Yeah, and that one, that one really gets me too, though.
You know, it was like they try to make that tackle
like it was a Sheldon Brown tackle
against Reggie Bush type tackle.
That tackle was a normal tackle.
The, you know, Henry was a huge dude.
Yeah, well, he's a little guy hitting 270.
Man, you're NFL football player.
We run through walls, but we don't, you know.
It's not like an Oklahoma drill
where they're facing each other right here
and they're coming at each other and smashing,
you know what I'm saying?
He's trying to look at the ball
and then he gets tackled.
I'm like, come on, man.
I know y'all trying to make it.
We don't understand all this.
This is far from Brian Dawkins.
That's a big hit on a 270 pound man.
But all we got to do is walk down
and sit down at the microphone.
He actually was on the field.
All right, quick break.
For anybody who's watching
Philadelphia Fanatics Fest,
apparently Mike and I can be had
for $2,500, $1,500.
Freddie's going to need $25K.
We will show up for the signatures.
We'll be right back.
There's another controversy going around.
Trackstar, maybe we'll talk about that.
And a shout out to a local influencer,
community activist who's doing cool things.
That's coming up on Bill, Freddie and Mike.
So BFM.
Oh, okay.
BMF.
Bill, Freddie and Mike.
All right, we'll be back.
Stay away from that.
Yeah, I don't want no beef.
They need to show it up at the door.
There you go.
It's Bill, Freddie and Mike.
I'm Bill.
Mike G.
Freddie Mitchell.
Mr. 4th and 26.
How many people you think we really got to tell who we are?
Us?
Like that you got to go through and say,
I'm Bill.
This is Mike.
That's Freddie.
You think they don't know?
I mean, we're only worth $1,500, man.
How do you say we only worth $1,500?
We probably got to remind them who we are at least, right?
You put this on social media.
There's a lot of times where people are like,
the guy in the print shirt doesn't know what he's talking about.
I got to tell them.
The one intern went through our pages.
She had seen your face on it so much that she thought you were Mike.
See?
She came in and she made her own argument.
So you're right.
Got to let them know.
So another viral clip is out there.
So there are track championships going on.
It is higher levels.
College-level track championships.
Apparently, one of the faster sprinters or hurdlers was already finished.
So a family member, a friend, or someone came out on the track
to cheer for the person who was already finished,
ignoring that there were still people running.
And this happened.
So that looked like a Penn jersey.
So this must have been the Ivy League.
Get out the way.
Mom, move on out the way.
So this one went viral.
And it sparked.
There were a lot of people surprisingly divided over whose fault this is.
I saw a lot of people who were saying that you're in, you know,
last or second to last place.
Don't run through somebody's mom.
Right.
Others were saying, look at the look on his face.
So you clearly are upset with mom being out there.
Right.
She has no business to be out there on the track at all.
Okay.
And then she didn't even, what was she doing?
She looked like she was yelling at somebody.
Well, whoever was already passed.
So she's like, go, baby.
Good for you.
But did she forget that she realized it was five people in the race?
I don't know.
Maybe she didn't care.
Three of us are done.
There's somebody coming behind me.
Everybody else is on the side, the camera person.
And she just decides she can be on the track.
Yeah.
She was shouting at her baby.
Now I'm just making this up.
I don't know if it was her daughter who was running,
but she was clearly at somebody else.
Yeah.
Right there in the middle of the track.
There's a reason why if you don't play, you stay outside and stay in the stands.
It's just a reason for that.
It's a safety issue, too.
Is it surprising to you that there were so many people?
If you look at the original post, there were a bunch of people who were like,
wow, you're a D1 track star.
You can't run around that person.
You can't avoid her.
You got to run through her.
No, that's not their job.
And I just lost to your kid.
Get out of my way.
Why?
You know what I'm saying?
Your kid just blew me off the track, and now you want to stand in my lane?
So do you think she could have avoided her if she wanted to?
Of course she could have, but she should have been there.
Wait a minute.
But is it one of them events where you have to stay in your lane?
It could have been that, too.
So I heard that argument also.
So, but you're in last place.
But they said that.
You'll be disqualified if you get in.
Yeah, because see how it's like that.
She hopped over and stayed in her lane, too.
She took the one she fell in front of.
That's their lanes.
She made sure she stayed in her lane when she hopped over.
And they did.
They actually, in the comments, somebody said, you have to remember if this is a
legitimate track meet, if you run out of your lane, you will be disqualified.
Now, I mean, you should be disqualified anyway.
Somebody's mom was on the track.
Shouldn't that be an unofficial?
Well, how about the person whose mom or that you get disqualified?
Your fans or your supporters came out on the track and got in my way.
Right.
How about you get disqualified?
So we got no sympathy for the person who's out of the track.
Even if she's a little older.
Sheer info.
This is just his grandma.
She has no business being there.
And how many track meets has she been to?
That's what I'm saying.
This was her first track meet.
How many track meets has she been to?
She knew exactly what she did wrong.
She's like, go, go, baby.
You can see her sitting there yelling.
The homegirl could have just screamed, be like, move.
She gave an official shout.
But it's probably loud.
Everybody's going, you know, the moment and everything else.
I'm not mad at the runner.
But if you sit there and watch it, she's apparently a hurdler.
She didn't have to run through.
Who was she supposed to stop?
She's still trying to get the best time, even if she's in last place.
She's trying to PR.
Maybe she's trying to qualify for the next round.
So even though I'm in last place, I still need to get a good time here, man.
And look, you can see her.
She stepped off for a second.
I can see her sewing the event now.
Right.
And then started.
I can see her calling pondla hockey and sewing.
Hey, if y'all want to sponsor us.
Ran no sponsors.
I'm a pondla hockey guy, but I don't know what kind of what law is that?
He's the accident.
Personal injury.
Oh, that's all right.
So he got you.
All right.
Quick break and we'll be right back.
It's Bill, Freddie and Mike BFM here.
Give us a follow on social media.
How do they find you?
F Mitchell 84.
There you go.
You are, sir.
At Mike Greenwich.
Green IDG across the board.
I'm Bill A Fox 29.
Give me a follow.
Bill Anderson on TV on my YouTube page trying to get those.
Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill.
Me again.
Trying to be trying to be worth more than fifteen hundred.
We'll be back.
Alex and Mike on the airwaves.
Topics on fleek.
I love it.
No better way on Fox.
So Bill gave me some work to do earlier and I didn't complete it.
So I'm having him do it now.
And so it's going to be asking you, though.
It was rhetorical.
He knew he knew.
Control room.
I just said it to you.
Please make sure you turn down the audio if we play it.
Just making sure everybody knows.
Well, no, because the control room upstairs, he said he ain't got it.
And he was trying to ask you.
He was like, I don't think I have so and so.
So I'm asking you, did you send it?
I said, no, I completely forgot.
And nobody would have known if you didn't put it on the air.
It's not like I asked during the show.
Right.
He was like, Mike, you didn't send that.
Freddy here.
All right.
I'm putting it on Fred.
We wanted to.
This is, do you know Auntie Saad?
I just heard about it.
I've just seen her around.
You know Auntie Saad.
So Auntie Saad is community activist, entrepreneur, social media influencer.
She got her hands in a lot of things, but very committed to community.
And because she does it in such an authentic, on the ground way, a lot of people celebrate her.
Some people come out and they're like, here we go.
We're doing it like that.
So I wanted to shout her out.
We wanted to shout her out because this latest video is going viral.
Auntie Saad is driving around Broad Street, you know,
runs into some young kids who are out there hustling.
And this is the interaction.
You got a business today.
What you gonna call it?
What you gonna call your business?
We got flavors.
You know what this is, right?
I don't know.
We got flavors.
Okay.
You want to come see me and we're going to start you up a business.
Okay.
I'll come see me tomorrow.
My name is Auntie Saad.
So listen, we're going to help you start a business.
Okay.
So kids out there, young kids selling juice.
She stops to buy the juice.
Ask the kid what his name is.
After she gives him about $100, $150 for some juice.
Asks him what his company's name is.
And he doesn't have one.
She told him, come see me.
We're going to get your business started up.
Which was cool in theory, right?
But then people immediately are like, oh, did you do it for social media?
Did you do it?
Because it was recorded and it was the nice shout out.
So then this morning I was looking around and this pops up on my feed.
She already hired people to do their logo and put it together for them.
That's beautiful.
And reminded them to come meet her at her location on Broad Street.
And the kid responded in the comments.
All right, we'll be over there after we get out of school.
Thank you for looking out for us.
I like that.
Right?
I really, really like that.
You know, that's better than giving back to the community,
you know, by showing up to events you get paid for.
Right, right, right.
Or just showing up.
That's amazing.
I thought it was cool.
We just wanted to shout it out because it was one of those things where
we often talk about young people out there.
And we've done a bunch of stories here on BAM,
where a young person's out there trying to do something
and somebody calls the police on them.
Or somebody questions the health department and takes away their license.
Instead, somebody in the community decides to help them out.
It's pretty dope.
Look at that.
Look at the young image.
Right.
The graphic is dope.
Yeah.
Overnight.
I like that she's willing to teach somebody how to be successful.
You know, you've got all these guys that they have,
they give book bags out and they give this and that.
But they ain't giving like game and teaching you how to do it
and walking you through the process.
And she could have easily just gave them the money, five dollars,
ten dollars, a hundred dollars.
Here you go, young man.
You know what I mean?
Enjoy, have a good day and kept it moving.
But she ain't really give him nothing.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
She gave him a couple dollars and he'd have been happy.
Right.
But now she actually gave him a future, dude.
If she pulls this off.
Yep.
And that's dope, man.
Give him a fish you eat for a day.
Right.
Teach him to fish they eat for a lifetime.
And she gave him something that he could share with his friends.
Right.
On top of it, right?
Now he can go to his homies and be like, yo.
Put them on game, right?
Right.
It's funny what you said that, Bill, because a lot of my friends growing up,
you know, when I was playing in the league and stuff like that,
they did not want to teach you how to fish.
You know, the the big boys with the businesses.
Right.
They just wanted to.
Hey, you want to come to my suite?
You want to come in and out?
They use.
They want to flex.
You know what I'm saying?
They just want to flex to show you, hey, I know Freddie Mitchell.
They don't want to say, hey, put a million dollars into this business
and let me show you how to make 10 million.
Right.
They don't do that.
Right.
There you go.
We got to take a break.
For all the crazy stuff.
She needs to come here.
She needs to come to the show.
She hasn't been on band.
Why don't we bring her in as a guest?
Let's go.
Auntie saw come through.
There you go.
You know, I hit a mic up on Instagram.
Hit him up on the Instagram.
It'll suck.
All right, great.
And we'll be right back to wrap it up.
B.F.M.
Bill, Freddie, Mike and you give us a follow on social media,
giving them not just dollars game game million dollars worth of game.
There you go.
Follow Gillian.
Then we'll be back.
Alex and Mike.
We got to get ready to get up out of here.
Talking about Freddie living his best life.
You going fishing?
Yeah, I got to go fishing.
I've been fishing a lot, but gas is so high, man.
Good.
You got a boat races.
Well, you got to if you're a real fisherman, you got to have friends with boats.
Thank you.
We'll get you back soon.
Yes.
Oh, anytime.
Anytime.
Always appreciate it when you come through.
Follow you at F Mitchell 84.
Just type in Freddie Mitchell.
You'll see it.
There you go.
You said it.
Mike Green is green.
I DG man on all of them.
I'm at Bill Fox 29.
We appreciate you.
Happy Friday.
Enjoy the weekend.
We'll be back to do it again Monday and stay put.
Good day.
Uncut starts now.
