AI GeneratedThe speaker harshly criticizes Speaker of the House Mike Johnson for his perceived ignorance and avoidance of accountability. The commentary focuses on Johnson's failure to stay informed about a tragic shooting involving federal agents in Maine and his refusal to provide direct answers regarding legislative action on Iran, framing him as an obsequious follower of Donald Trump rather than an active legislator.
I don't know anything about this event, okay? I was a little busy yesterday, so I'm gonna reserve
judgment. I know that there was a tragic shooting, and I'm not gonna comment on it because I don't
know. I got a couple simple questions. One, does Mike Johnson know anything? Does Mike Johnson
know anything? Does Mike Johnson pay attention to the news at all? And if not, what is he doing
rather than do those things? It is a remarkable turn of events that the Speaker of the House
of Representatives doesn't pay attention to any news at any time, especially that news that brings
controversy to the Trump administration. He's very much like Susan Collins from Maine. Anytime
something terrible happens, I'm very concerned about this. Except for Mike Johnson doesn't even
provide the concern. He's just like, sorry, y'all, didn't watch the news. Not really a news guy.
Don't mock me for that, though, which is what he did yesterday. When asked about the horrific
execution of a man in Maine at the hands of Donald Trump's masked secret police force,
he punts on the question. I'm so busy. I worked like 22 hours in the last.
Why are you asking me these questions about things that are happening, about government policy,
about my role as Speaker of the House and my legislative duties to write laws
in the face of this type of tyranny? You're probably gonna mock me, but stop, you guys.
Stop being so mean to me. That's you. That was my impression of you, Mike Johnson.
Do you like it? Do you appreciate it? Or do you not know yet because you haven't watched the news
or checked out any sources or just checked out? Watch this and we will absolutely talk about it
on the other side. The ICE agents who killed a person in Maine yesterday were reportedly not
using body-worn cameras. And that's despite DHS officials coming to Congress and repeatedly saying
over the last few months that they want to expand body camera usage. Does there need to be
accountability on DHS from Congress here? I don't know anything about this event, okay?
I was a little busy yesterday, so I'm gonna reserve judgment. I know that there was a
tragic shooting, and I'm not gonna comment on it because I don't know. And you guys can mock me for
not knowing that. I worked about 22 hours in the last few days, and I did not get the briefing on
that yet. I will this morning. Yes. What's he so busy doing? They're not writing legislation.
Donald Trump is ruling by executive order, hundreds and hundreds of them.
What is he doing that got him, sorry, no chance to read the horrific headlines about armed federal
agents with masks on, anonymous people gunning down people in the streets? What's so important
that you're doing, Mike Johnson, that you can't pay attention to the news, brother? Because you're
certainly not speakering the house. Anytime any controversy arises surrounding Donald Trump,
Donald Trump's family, Donald Trump's regime, Donald Trump, the people he's put in place,
Mike Johnson doesn't know anything about it. I don't know. He even punted on the follow-up.
It's not a follow-up question to this, but it's the next question. He punted on Iran even. He
answers the question. No, no, no. Let's back up. He doesn't answer the question. He addresses the
question with an answer that isn't what the question was asking, because he doesn't want
two in a row where he's pulling the, I haven't been paying attention thing. Because eventually,
people are gonna catch on, right? Watch this. Last question, guys.
On Iran and the state of Hormuz, the president says that the MOU is dead,
hostilities are back on, and says the 60-day clock has just reset. Is it time to consider
an AUMF vote? And when it comes to the toll that the U.S. is reportedly going to be charging,
is that really proper? I mean, in the past, the administration has said there should not be a
charge, and now 20%. I'm gonna let the White House answer to that. We're still awaiting further
details on the toll idea. I was with the president for about three hours yesterday. We talked about
it very briefly, because we had a lot of other things on the agenda. I think we're awaiting
further details, and we'll determine that. With regard to the state of Hormuz, there is a memo
of understanding, but Iran seems to have no interest whatsoever in maintaining any of those
provisions. And when they are firing on commercial vessels in the state of Hormuz, it's a danger to
all freedom-loving people around the world, and the economies of almost every nation on the planet.
And so the response from America is appropriate. What do you do with these people? Listen,
they're not good faith actors. They cannot be trusted. The people that are in these negotiation
rooms, as the president said himself yesterday, they will say one thing and literally walk out
the door and do the opposite. Well, the toll idea is already gone. The toll idea is already
off the table. Donald Trump has already backed away. Taco Trump already backed away from his
illegal idea. The idea is not illegal, but if they were to implement the idea,
it would be illegal, which is against international law. It's an international
waterway. You don't get to charge fees and tolls. If it's illegal for Iran, it's illegal
for Donald Trump. Mike Johnson can't say that because he's an obsequious ass kisser to Donald
Trump. Instead, he pivots to, oh, I will leave that up to the White House. But let me talk
generally about Iran. Not the question. The question was about should the House now take
action in this matter? Is it time now for you to do your job? Is it time now, Mike Johnson,
for you to legislate like a legislator in a legislature? You see how that works?
That's your job. That's your whole job. That's it. So maybe you could spend a little time,
since you're not doing any of those things, to watch the news. And listen, you don't have to
watch MS Now or CNN. You could watch Fox News and still get the headlines about the executions
taking place in the streets of America, Mike Johnson. Nobody believes you don't know what's
going on. No one believes you're not following the news closely enough to know that. I mean,
you would have them believe that with everything that you say is just a
jingo fest. Everything's just patriotic, patriotism language pouring out of Mike Johnson,
doing the same thing that many of these other idiots are doing now, which is to attack
communism as though it's rearing its ugly head in the United States, as though there's a slew
of actual communist candidates on ballots all across the country. And we're at risk of losing
the identity of the cultural and societal makeup of the United States because of the evil threat
of communism. It doesn't make any sense. This is how he kicked off his little address before
he started answering questions. We're a little more animated these days than normal. I brought
a little fire to our House Republican conference meeting this morning because I feel like Carlos
does. I believe everything is at stake right now. This isn't campaign rhetoric. It's not hyperbole.
You see what's happening around America. I am often reminded these days of the writings of
the founders, the warnings of the people who put together the principles that made us the
greatest nation in the history of the world. They warned us against times like this. In recent,
more recent times when we were kids, you know, in the 80s, Ronald Reagan used to remind us all
the time. You hear me repeat it. You have to understand freedom is never more than one
generation away from extinction. It is not passed along in the bloodstream. Reagan said it must be
fought for. It must be protected. It has to be taught, passed along to the next generation
so that they, too, will understand these principles that hold us together.
Again, it's one of the situations where they just play the patriotic music and have a flag
waving behind me. Oh, yes, sir, super patriot. We're fighting for freedom, says a man who's
never fought for anything in his life. The only thing Mike Johnson fights for is he's fighting
against people finding out about his sexual proclivities. He's worried against all worry
that people are going to find out all the sort of details about him sharing his porn consumption
with his accountability buddy, his son. That's what he's fighting for. He's now trying to take
inventory of all the things that are being said about Lindsey Graham after his death.
Is that going to happen to me? Is my legacy going to be completely ruined because people are going
to find out? Anyway, what do you think? Am I too hard on the young, talented Mike Johnson?
I think I know the answer. I think I know your answer. Maybe not. You can share below. I'd love
to read it. You can also help support this work if you appreciate what I do, the things that I say,

But if you wanted to cancel your channel membership and migrate over to Patreon,
you would have my tacit approval, my explicit approval. I suggest it. It's much better for you
and for me. Patreon.com slash I doubt it podcast. I love and appreciate you very much. I will see
you next time. Until then, be genuine. Don't be like Mike Johnson and take care of one another.
Again, not like Mike Johnson.
