Hello again everybody. I hope you're all doing well and safe. Today I'm going to show you a
performance and tutorial of a card trick that was on my channel about seven years ago. It was done
by my friend Juan Fernando and I really liked this trick so I thought I would do a performance
and tutorial myself. At the end of the video I'll be announcing the winners of the signed deck
giveaway from my last video plus there's going to be another signed deck giveaway. So first I'll
give the cards a nice clean riffle shuffle and let's give them another shuffle. So all the cards
are mixed up and now I'm going to take out the picture cards. So we'll take out the Jacks,
Queens and Kings and then I can get rid of the rest of the deck and there we go. So that's it.
So now I've got the all the picture cards are all mixed and these are my turquoise cards so
I'm going to be giving away a turquoise deck, an orange deck and a green deck. So we've got
different value in Kali here a Red Queen and a Black Jack. We've got a Black King and a Red Queen.
Here we have a Red Jack and a Black King. Here we have a Black Queen and a Red Jack and over here we
have a Red King and a Black Queen. So all the cards are different value different colors and
all I have to do is just I'm not even going to snap my fingers because that's ridiculous. I
want to just touch the cards that didn't do anything either but the magic has happened and
now the two Red Kings are together, the two Black Queens are together, the two Red Jacks are together,
the two Black Kings are together, the two Red Queens are together and the two Black Jacks
are together. Okay here's the tutorial. What you want to do is you want to take out all the Jacks,
the Queens and the Kings and you're going to set them up by taking the two Black Kings,
alternating Black Red. So Black Kings, Red Queens, Black Jacks, Red Kings, Black Queens,
Red Jacks, just like that. Now you want to flip them over and you're going to drop them three,
two, two, two and three. So this is what it looks like after you do that and that's the way it's
going to be when you pull the cards out of the deck. So you're going to set it on the top of
the deck and you're ready to go. So now you can give the cards two riffle shuffles without
disturbing the order of the face cards. So the first riffle shuffle will mix them up a little
bit but they shouldn't go down lower than halfway through to the bottom. So the second riffle
shuffle you can go with about half of the cards and give it a nice clean riffle shuffle. So it
really looks like the cards are mixed up. Now you want to remove all of the face cards and they'll
be in the same exact order as you put them on the stack at the top of the deck. So that's what's
really cool about this. It really looks like a clean mix and that all the cards are mixed up
and then you take out these cards just like this. Now you're going to show that all the cards are
mixed up and you're going to turn the cards over. As you spread them you're going to catch a break
right underneath the third card. So my pinky is right underneath that jack and you're going to
square it up and then you're going to peel off one card and lift the second and third card as a
double. So you're going to say I've got a queen and a jack and that's actually two jacks so
you're going to pick like again you're going to have a break right here you're going to take off
one card and lift up the double show it as a black queen and a red jack and set the double down like
that. Now peel off just two cards show you have a red king and a black queen. Now another two cards
a black jack and a red king another two cards a red queen and a black jack. Now I'm left with
three cards peel off one hold these two at the bottom as a double and show that you've got a
black king and a red queen when this is really a double. So now you show all the cards they're all
mixed in value and color. Now you're only showing 10 of the 12 court cards but most people won't
catch that because you're going through the cards nobody's counting that you just show 10
and not 12. So now you set it down and all the magic is done. Now what you could do is at the
bottom of the deck you could slide this jack over just like this so you could reveal either this way
with the cards face up or the way I did with the cards face down. If you turn the cards over you
could show that the red jacks are together the black queens are together the red kings are
together the black jacks are together the red queens are together and the black kings are
together. It's a fun little trick it always gets good reactions. Let me know what you guys think.
