NY GIANTS DL JOSH TUPOU 2026 OUTLOOK

You said you wanted the New York Giants to upgrade their run defense, so they went out and got every single defensive tackle available to man, and that includes former Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Josh Tupo. Now, I don't know if this is going to be the fit for him, mostly because he has to beat out several other bodies who have been more productive on the inside as run defenders that are sitting there in front of him. There is just way too many mountains to climb for guys who don't add anything as pass rushers. There are already those guys in the fold ready to go. This could be a situation where Tupo is really looking for more film, more opportunities to be seen for another team that might need the services of an interior defensive lineman who stops the run, but here with the Giants, because there are so many of those guys available, it's probably going to be hard for him to break through, and that's unfortunate because in years past, a guy like him would have had the opportunity to make the back end of this roster, but not this year. There's not one. There's not two. There's not three. There's not four. There's seven guys that he would probably have to jump over in order to make the interior defensive line on this team, and that's just not happening.
