Wes what's going on brother? How's it going? Pretty good, pretty good. So talk to me about tonight's show. What's going on? Tonight we're doing BMR on Sunset. It's Big Machine Rock. Okay. We are playing with, there's four bands we're playing last. What are we doing? We're playing, yeah, I don't know. We're playing rock music. I like that, I like that. Oh, Whiskey A Go Go. Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood. Okay. Do you guys have like a ritual before you go on stage? Is there like, you know, do you take a bunch of shots or like whatever? Yeah, we definitely, I have a few drinks for sure. I have not escaped the clutches of enjoying that. And yeah, we kind of, our bass player, we met in the improv theater back in Virginia. We do a lot of like comedy ----. So like we'll do what we do before improv shows, which is just like a lot of like physical like body warmups and ----. Cause I like to flop around a little bit sometimes. There you go, there you go. Do you guys get pretty crazy on stage? Um, it's pretty chill. Sometimes like, sometimes if I'm feeling it, I get a little crazy, but it depends. Depends. Have you ever seen the video of the band that performs at Denny's? Denny's and then there's another one where they go to Subway. So that would be, yeah. Gotta see the Subway one. What are some of like your musical influences? Like, do you only listen to yourself or like when you're in the car, what's in your deck right now? I listen to, like influence wise, like when I was young, it was like Green Day and like Radiohead and Muse, ---- like that. Um, but like, uh, yeah, nowadays it's, it's so ******* all over the place. Um, it's hard to remember. I, I, especially when I'm writing ----, I like kind of am in my own world where I'm like not listening to as much and I'm just kind of like working on the songs, but I always forget what I've been listening to. Right. No, no, no. I got it. Did you ever listen to Nirvana by any chance? Yeah. Let me ask you this. So this popular rapper, Netspend, I don't know if you heard of Netspend. He's from Richmond, Virginia. Okay. Okay. Okay. Wow. So you know Netspend? Yes. Okay. So his personally, so on his new album cover, he sampled like the cross from the video of Heart Shaped Box for his album cover. And I mean, I'm looking at that and I'm like, I know that that's from the Nirvana video, but I'm like, does his label know that that's from there? So what do you think that he's going to have to end up changing that album cover? I mean, it's literally a screenshot from the music video. Um, I would assume there's going to be some sort of legal, if it isn't already going down, legal debate from like the estate of, of Kurt Cobain, but I, or not Kurt Cobain's estate, but like the Nirvana, like David Geffen records or whoever. Yeah. Yeah. They're going to be like, so that's, that's our image there. It's from a music video. How does that work? Do they own it? Like maybe he'll get away with it. Maybe. There might be a little bit of a fight. I don't know what's going to come out. It's like a baseball game. You never know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is there one that's like really popular or that you save for last or something? People, weirdly, the song I never thought was going to do the best. The most streamed song is this song called eggshells. Eggshells. Eggshells. I never thought it was going to do that, but it is our top stream song. Personally. I like this song spider legs. Like that's a fun song that I, that I knew it. I don't know. There you go. Okay. Yeah. But you know, there's always like a, you know, like say like smells like teen spirit. That's what everybody wants to hear that one song or like inner sand man or something like that. But so, okay, well, those are the good ones.
