Fate Brought These Two Exes Back Together | First Dates

Hi. 47-year-old mum, Emma, is a seasoned dater. Hello, how are you? Hello, fine, how are you? Good afternoon. She frequently has men throwing themselves at her. Oh, I had to lunge her this week. Yeah. I was like, what are you doing? Eileen, we'll get you a drink. I love being a mum. I think I'm still a young mum. I'm probably an embarrassing mum. I'm a mum that's got Instagram, which is not cool, apparently. So how are you feeling about your date today? I feel OK, actually. I've had quite a few dates. Oh, you're an old hand at this game, then? I had a couple of years out and then decided to just try a bit of dating and see what happened. I've had quite a few interesting dates. Weird ones, short ones, gay ones. You're looking for something a little more permanent? I would like a companion. It's such an old term, but I would like to share, you know, good times with somebody. I'm 47. I don't always want to be the one that goes out with other couples on my own. I've had more fun with my sky planner for two years. So how many children do you have? I've got two daughters, eight and 16. So I suppose you have to be quite selective when you're looking for a guy, then. Yeah, you have to drip feed someone in, don't you? And he hasn't arrived yet. Well, I wish you the best of luck today. Hiya. I like a man that's groomed. Short, grey hair, reasonably tall. Nice shoulders. Somebody manly. Yeah, not a wimp. He looks nice. I attract women that like confident men. I hold myself well, I dress well, I smell well, apparently. I wouldn't say I'm a ladies' man, but I'm a man that ladies like. How are you? Hiya. Very well, yourself? Yeah, good, thank you very much. What's your name? Peter. A young lady came up to me on a beach in Portugal. She just said, you're exactly what I'm looking for in a man. And my friend standing next to me said, you mean he's a messed-up, divorced, drunk grandad. And I had to put in correct. I said, I'm a grandlad, not a grandad. Thank you. This is mad. Well... Stop it. Shit. Yeah. Oh, my God. Mad. Hiya, how are you? Very well, welcome. I'd like a gin, please. I'm going to sit down. Oh, my goodness. I can't believe it. We've dated. No, you are kidding me. They must have known. They couldn't have known. Well, then they obviously think that we should have gone out together. Yeah. Well, so what's been happening in your world then for the last 18 months? Not a lot. Can you imagine if it had been me sitting here? Would you have just turned around? Walked straight out? It's probably a good job I got here first, yeah. How are you? We're fine. We know each other. We've dated. You dated before? Yeah. I don't know, we met each other on a... It was my birthday. Yeah. What a turn of events, mate. Well, we've got to give it a second go. Yeah. Slippery. Let's go.
