Vintage Sideboard Makeover - Paint & Wood Combo

This is one of those "I thought this would be a quick and easy" flip, but nooooo. Haha! I ended up trying out three colors before settling on a fourth custom-blended color for the base, and I refinished the top and left it woodgrain.

I didn't like the dated pulls on the cabinet's lower doors, so I opted to remove them, fill the holes, and install magnetic latches instead, which you push to close or open. Perfectly easy to use, and takes away some of the "busyness" happening on the doors.

Even though my initial plan for this piece (light woodgrain top/top drawers, with a muted painted base) didn't happen, I do love how this turned out. There were so many scratches, I wasn't even sure if I could leave the top wood initially, but I got the majority out and it looks great again. ❤️
