I'm just really tired of people losing money in the space.
So before I record anything, I want to just think,
how does this offer value to my audience? How does this offer value to you guys?
How is this going to help you get closer to your goals? So my personal opinion,
and again, take it or leave it.
But my personal opinion is that if you want advice,
the best place to go is the creator of the universe. Okay?
So that's why I looked at the Bible for my wisdom and what I see in this space,
not in this space only, but just all over,
especially in young men is there's this idea of, Hey,
we're going to put money into something and we're going to get super rich,
super quickly.
And I think that's even why a lot of people follow me is I put my numbers out
there and they say, Oh wow, look, you've made a lot of money.
We're going to follow you.
But I think it's important to note that I did not make my money quickly.
I did not make my money from putting a thousand dollars into a meme coin and
then it turned into a million dollars. That's not how I made my money.
So the passage that God's put on my heart is from Proverbs and Proverbs is the
book of wisdom.
One of my pipe dreams actually is to write a book Proverbs for entrepreneurs
because there's a ton of wisdom in there.
Even if you don't believe the Bible is the word of God,
it's just ancient wisdom of some kind.
I think there's still some things you can get out of this,
but obviously the most value is going to be is if you believe that the word of
God is from God, the creator of the universe,
then it's definitely words you can live by.
But Proverbs 13 11 says wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. So again,
this is what I see a lot of people in this space doing.
I see a lot of investors, I see a lot of young men,
but they're looking for wealth gained hastily get rich quick.
And this is a huge temptation. It is for me too.
The story that sticks with me is I read about a guy who put a thousand dollars
into Shiva, you knew, and it was then worth a billion dollars.
And it's like, that could be me. But again,
that's desiring wealth gained hastily. And I just want to let you know,
that is not the normal way that people get wealthy.
That's not the normal way that God intended for people to increase wealth.
So I want to encourage you to stay away from this.
Don't look for wealth gained hastily because even if you get it,
it will dwindle. We see this in crypto all the time, right?
There was an ad I saw about crypto where it was a guy checking his phone,
checking the charts. And he said, Oh, I'm a millionaire. Oh, I'm not a millionaire.
Oh, I'm a millionaire. I'm not a millionaire. It just, it comes and goes.
The alternative,
what proverbs would point you to is whoever gathers little by little will
increase it. So the big difference between these two people,
the one who their wealth dwindles and the one who their wealth increases is the
timeframe that they're looking at. So again,
the ones who have their wealth dwindle are looking to get money quickly.
The ones who actually increase their wealth are the ones who want to increase it
little by little. So again,
the way I gained my wealth was not a one shot thing where,
okay, I put in this money, made a lot of money,
but I gathered little by little. I built a business.
I stayed up late at night, wrote some code, put out a business.
And little by little it grew over time.
It took me maybe eight years to reach my first million,
but gathered little by little and increased it. So comment down below.
First off, have you been trying to gain wealth quickly? And second off,
how has that been working for you? And then third off,
I'd also like you to comment.
How can you switch your mindset from increasing quickly to increasing little by
little? What does that action plan look like for you? Then again,
I think even if you don't believe in God, you don't believe in his word.
I think there's principles that you can,
you can get from this that will help you in your goals.
But I do want to point you to someone 27 one, unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain. Jesus says,
what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
Jesus tells another story about a guy who's gets super rich and he's like,
what should I do?
I'll build bigger barns and increase my wealth even more. And then he says,
you fool, don't you know that today your soul is required of you.
So someday you're going to die.
This has become my catchphrase and I'm okay with that.
So you can increase your wealth little by little here on earth.
But unless the Lord builds the house, it's all in vain.
Someday you're going to die. That money's not going to do you any good.
And I would encourage you with the words of Jesus.
Don't store up treasure here on earth where moth and rust destroy thieves,
breaking and steel store up treasure in heaven where moth and rust cannot
destroy where thieves cannot break in and steal for where your treasure is.
There your heart will be also. So I hope this is helpful for you.
