What's up guys? Damien right up front. Congratulations on the win. Big card, big moment for you. What does it all feel like a few minutes later? Nothing changed yet. I don't know, but I'm happy for it. It's a hard work payoff. Yeah, that's it. It's just a hard work payoff. How are the shins? You came in and there's the ice walking a little slowly. Is that typical or Feel bad in my first time feel my first time winning a fight and get out like some places hurting like pain And you called out by your sir Sakaya for a future fight which obviously you're two of the brightest prospects in the division so Why him? Why was he the name? He was up here and one of you guys asked him Damien Damien was one strike fighter man. You say who's Damien? I don't know that guy He's supposed to know me because I'm the one that gave him a chance to fight in the UFC I wasn't supposed to fight in the contender and I have to pull out Because of my fist a problem so he got a chance. I don't know why he said he don't know who is Damien So, you know me clearly now If you don't know me, you're gonna find me out. You're gonna get know me in octagon. It's a personal I never think nothing personal Fair enough. Yeah, what would you like to get back in there in a perfect world? I would like to get it October October will be nice for me because after you I want to take a little bit like two Weeks off just chilling do everything what I want, but October will Stay in to do what are your advantages over bison gore? What do you see as your advantages over a guy like bison gore sister Kyle? I made I gonna kill that guy if I but I'll made I kill him Just over here. Did I hear correctly that you ran into John Jones before your fight? Yeah, yeah, you trained with them a little bit for like a little mini sparring round got some pep talks. What was that? Like that's crazy. It's a legend. There's a champ there. Don't play with him. So he wasn't my client I meet with him yesterday before Done before the face off. I met with him and he was a nice guy. We talk We do some joke there and today came in the room. He was there with Gabriel So he got me a little bit peptide. Yeah, talk with me. Show me a warm-up and we do something Yeah, how did it feel to get that sort of acknowledgment from one of the best? It's crazy It's crazy Congratulations on over here. I saw on your Instagram. You have a Wendy's sponsorship. Yeah, how did that all get set up? Yeah, that's from the Aruban Aruban people support me. They show me love. So there's a Caribbean fight and the Wendy's sponsored me from there Yeah What's your favorite thing to eat from Wendy's I know you can't have a lot of it during camp I have my combo Yeah, yeah You expect sales to go up tonight with that win that was a pretty big one right must must go up Yeah, and just last one for me. Obviously, we're here in Vegas. Are you gonna get to enjoy yourself tonight? What's the plan for the the rest of tonight? And when you heading back home? I was here in Vegas is Third July on June then go out yet. So tonight gonna be crazy I will go out every hit me up. If you have a party after party hit me up. I want to go Damien in the post fight over here In the post fight interview, you said, you know, you reminded the people that you haven't actually been doing this that long You didn't do amateurs. However, you train with a very experienced camp So tell me how much does that help you being with such an experience can't help make up for this time It make my way more easy for me Sometimes I see the way like I need to go like this He told me no biggest freaky you're gonna end up on the same place So make it everything more easy and it's so grateful to have you on my side and he believes so much in me So that's why I am today And of course that camp has underrated wrestling really good strikers have come out of there But it's also a very jujitsu based camp with that a pedonair So tell me I imagine all your opponents are probably gonna be wanting to continue to take you down With the power you show and you've shown good defense so far But tell us how has your ground game your jujitsu progression has it been going up there? Thank you, thank you and congratulations on your win Damien over here back here Hey congrats on the victory, what was it like for Joe Rogan to he compared your power to Deontay Wilder? What's that? What's it like to hear that? That's crazy. I don't even know that. I have that power. It just happened And one more for me I saw you were hanging out with Aljo and Murab last week What was that? Like those two are some of the most fun guys in the in the space No, they are I think I just met them at the event the super boxing but I didn't hang with them Yeah All right. Thank you guys
