Just because the games are over at Philadelphia Stadium or we can now call it Lincoln Financial Field doesn't mean the World Cup is over.
We now have the World Cup Quarters or the Elite Eight Bracket.
Tyler is going to join us. The storyline goes like this.
Four of them have won before. Four of them are underdogs.
And right here on my screen, I have circled which underdog I think is going to win.
Right here.
Is it Norway?
Yes!
Yeah, it's going to be a fun one. I'll tell you that.
Let's begin where we begin. We begin France versus Morocco.
Yeah, that's today. Four o'clock and it's going to be a really good one.
I honestly, you know, France is one of those teams that everyone predicted to go extremely far.
Right from the very beginning, we had the privilege of seeing them here twice in Philadelphia.
So you have their incredible forwards of Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Desiree Doué, Michael Alise.
So if one of them is not playing well, there's still got three others that are going to be just as good.
We're in that France jersey right now to kind of show you that there's two stars here.
That means that they've won two World Cups.
So is there going to be a team that doesn't have a star that's going to add one? We don't know.
OK, so let's move on to Spain versus Belgium.
Belgium against the United States.
They looked like they had all the stars on their team, but we also know Spain.
They have La Minimal and so much more talent, young, hungry and ready to win.
Yeah. The only thing you need to know about Spain right now is that they haven't conceded a goal yet in five games.
So Belgium were definitely galvanized versus us for various reasons.
But I think Spain will probably have enough to get it over the line.
But it's going to be a good game. We're in the quarterfinals.
Every game is going to be good. But the best game that we're going to see is the one that you were talking about.
Just the start with Norway.
Now it's Norway versus England.
I know that David Beckham and my stepmom, who's British, would all like to see England.
But they have the dude that tripped over the thing and he got a boo-boo in his arm arm.
So I don't think he's going to be able to play.
He wouldn't have played anyway.
Really? He's not a big deal?
He's like 36. They just brought him along for like the uncle vibes.
Oh, I thought he was a big deal.
No, Jordan Henderson? No, he's fine.
I love Norway.
Yeah, the rule.
Thank you. No, together. Here we go.
Rule. Yeah. Rule.
Good. Okay.
But they have just one of the stars of the whole World Cup this year playing for them.
And dare I say, running like a truck for them.
Yeah, he's a monster.
They call him a cyborg, a robot in the Premier League.
Early Holland, he plays for Manchester City in the Premier League.
A lot of England's team is already used to playing him every week.
They're not going to fear him as much because they're used to him.
But they already know what he's capable of.
You got Martin Odegaard. That's right behind him.
He plays for Arsenal. He just won the Premier League.
And he is the kind of leader of the press.
So he basically keeps the tempo up the entire time and feeds balls into Holland for him to just score.
And you could see him do nothing the entire game, but he'll score two goals.
And that's just how they play.
All right. Now I watched a little bit of the Argentina game.
So it's Argentina versus Switzerland.
A lot of people think Argentina will win this.
I was running some errands the other day.
Switzerland was up 2-0.
And literally, I went like this and I went this.
And Argentina was back.
Like, I'm going to do it.
It was like this and then like this.
It happened so quickly.
Yeah, that's what they do.
It's like they just have this gene in them that they play when they feel like it.
And Argentina, they've won, you know, in 2022, Lionel Messi.
As long as you have him on your team, anything can happen.
And that's what we just saw against Egypt, right?
Egypt were cruising 2-0.
And then boom, boom, boom.
And that's all it takes sometimes.
So you can't really underestimate anyone.
And no lead is safe.
All right. Well, let me go.
Let me talk about something very important.
Do you know what this is?
It's a piece of paper.
This is a piece of paper.
Some of your coworkers, you were probably busy in New York that day,
put together a little bracket thing.
And, okay, you're Argentina.
Keith got Argentina.
And the you-know-what let him have it.
It was random picked.
Yeah, well.
All right.
Oh, wait.
Tom McGeehan has Norway.
Aaron outside there has England.
All right.
And then, wait.
I have Belgium.
And Mark Tobe, who's a big boss here, he has Spain.
Down with Mark.
Okay.
And that could happen.
Any of this could happen.
Anything could happen.
All right.
Listen.
Thank you for your insight.
Next game is when, Nash?
It's going to be today.
I believe at 4 o'clock.
Could be wrong.
But then, you know, it's going to be tomorrow.
And then there's two on Saturday.
I believe that's how it goes.
Okay.
Thank you so much for the help.
Of course.
All right.
There you go.
That is the World Cup Elite Bracket.
Does not get any more elite than that.
