In this video I take on the boss fight of my AI rebuild series and try to recreate Notion from scratch. Notion is the most popular productivity app out there, but it gets expensive fast once you add seats and unlock the AI features locked behind the business tier, so I wanted to see if I could rebuild that paid functionality for next to nothing. Using Base44, the AI app builder sponsoring this series, I prompt my way through nested pages and a block editor, database table and kanban board views, a built-in AI assistant that pulls context across the whole workspace, and full multi-user team management with invite-only access and automated email invites. I also grab a custom domain for under a dollar, publish the app, and run a full stress test to see whether the auth, member roles, and invite emails actually hold up under pressure.
