Bonjour friends,

The weather has been pretty hot lately and the garden is thriving, I harvested my first peas and made a savory pond cake with them.
It's also the beginning of berries season, so I harvested some and made a Charlotte cake with them, it's the perfect cake to prepare during a heatwave. Simple and quick to make (if you don't count the rest time in the fridge) and best of all, no oven needed. To me it's a really strong point since I'm very sensitive to heat and avoid using my oven when the weather is too hot.
