Lilac season in France, slow life in the countryside, cooking with flowers, gardening.

How have you been?

Lilac season is here in France and I couldn't be happier about it. The lilac bush in my grandma's garden was in full bloom, so I went to pick some to decorate the house and also to try to cook a few recipes with them.
I made lilac syrup and also lilac sugar that I later used to bake some almond cookies.

I also spend a lot of time in the garden, plating potatoes and taking care of my strawberries.

There was supposed to be a meteor shower a few days ago, I went to see the stars with my family, but we saw nothing. A beautiful landscape, a gorgeous sunset and a nice night sky but no shooting stars. It's okay. I spent a beautiful moment and I was happy anyway, maybe next time.
