🛒 Ingredients:
1 pork tenderloin
Non-salt meat tenderizer
Onion powder
Dried thyme
BeSureToCook Seasoning Blend
Grill Master Zesty Herb Blend (or favorite herb seasoning)
2 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp hot pepper paste
Non-stick cooking spray
Cuban bread loaf
Yellow or Dijon mustard
Baby Swiss cheese slices
Thinly sliced smoked ham
Kosher dill pickles, sliced
Melted butter (for brushing)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Coat the pork tenderloin generously with meat tenderizer, onion powder, thyme, BeSureToCook Seasoning Blend, and zesty herb seasoning.
Drizzle with olive oil and mix in the hot pepper paste until evenly coated.
Place on a lightly sprayed rack and marinate for about 3 hours.
Bake at 350°F for approximately 25 minutes per pound (about 45 minutes for a smaller tenderloin), then let rest before slicing thin.
Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and remove a little of the soft interior to make room for the fillings.
Spread mustard on both sides of the bread.
Layer Swiss cheese, sliced roast pork, smoked ham, kosher pickles, and more Swiss cheese.
Close the sandwich and brush the outside with melted butter.
Grill in a panini press until golden brown, crispy, and the cheese is melted.
Slice, serve hot, and enjoy your homemade Cuban sandwich.
