In this recipe, I will show you how to make a crispy homemade pizza without a pizza oven, without kneading the dough, and without using any special equipment.
The dough is made with simple ingredients: pizza flour, cold water, instant dry yeast, salt, and olive oil. If you do not have pizza flour, you can also use bread flour.
The secret to a crispy pizza crust is simple: first, bake only the pizza dough for a short time. Then add the pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite toppings, and bake again until golden and crispy.
This method helps you make a crispy pizza at home, even in a regular home oven.
Ingredients:
450 g / 15.9 oz / about 3 ¾ US cups pizza flour
4 g / 1 ¼ tsp instant dry yeast
335 ml / 11.3 fl oz / about 1.4 US cups cold water
18ā20°C / 64ā68°F
6 g / 1 tsp salt
20 ml / 0.7 fl oz / about 1 tbsp + 1 tsp olive oil
For the topping:
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Turkish sausage
Mushrooms
Black olives
Or any toppings you like
Time:
Active preparation time: 20ā25 minutes
First dough rest: 45ā60 minutes
Second dough rest: 20 minutes
First bake, dough only: 5ā8 minutes
Final bake with toppings: 8ā12 minutes
Total time: about 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours
Baking temperature:
230°C / 446°F
No kneading.
No folding.
No overnight resting.
No pizza oven needed.
Baking time may change depending on your oven and the thickness of the pizza dough.
