Japanese Young Man Builds a Guesthouse in Chinese Village.

In 2016, Zhou An from Jiangxi resigned from his high-paying job and rent 6 dilapidated houses in an old village in Tonglu. He invited Japanese architect Shinya Kojima to renovate them into a guesthouse and named it Origin Villa. The whole renovation costs 15 million but uses simple materials like earth, red bricks, bamboo. ‘Even guests only stay here for one day, as long as they can experience a little difference in details, I think it’s worthwhile.’
