【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Ottorino Respighi: Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No.1 - 1. Balletto detto 'Il conte Orlando' (Simone Molinaro). This beautiful piece was played by United States Marine Band. It has Creative Commons license and is provided through www.musopen.org.

The Suite No. 1 P 109 by the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi is based on lute pieces from the Renaissance (by Simone Molinaro, Vincenzo Galilei (Galileo Galilei's father) and anonymous composers, among others). Before my search for suitable pieces for our channel on Ganjing World, I did not know his music. I particularly enjoyed Suite 1. It has a beautiful melody :-) and is light and sweet. I hope the audience enjoys the view from the church Merligen over Lake Thun while listening to this music. The wandering clouds were particularly impressive on that January evening. It is not every evening that nature grants us such a colorful spectacle :-)
