This orange cake is incredibly soft, moist, and full of fresh orange flavor. All ingredients are simply measured with tablespoons, so no scale is needed. The light and airy batter with orange, vanilla, orange marmalade and fine coconut flakes makes this cake particularly aromatic and irresistible. Recipe:
3 eggs 🥚🥚🥚.
A pinch of salt.
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract.
10 tbsp sugar (150 g / 5.3 oz).
Beat with a mixer for 2-3 minutes.
Mix well until the mixture is creamy.
10 tablespoons of sunflower oil (100 ml / 3.4 fl oz).
10 tbsp milk (100 ml / 3.4 fl oz).
Grated zest of an orange.
Juice of 1 orange (60 ml / 2 fl oz).
10 tablespoons of flour (210 g / 7.4 oz).
Add the flour in two stages so that the dough mixes better.
1 tbsp baking powder (15 g / 0.5 oz).
Mix well.
Mix everything well until the dough is smooth.
22 cm (8.6 inch) springform pan.
Grease the baking tin with butter so that the baking paper stays in place.
Bake at 175°C (347°F) for 35–40 minutes.
Orange marmalade for spreading.
Sprinkle with coconut flakes.
