🌸 June has finally arrived in the countryside. After weeks of rain and cold weather, sunny days are slowly returning. Peonies are blooming everywhere, lavender is beginning to flower, strawberries are reaching the end of their season, and long summer evenings make it feel as if time has slowed down just a little. This week I visited a beautiful peony and lavender field, brought fresh flowers home to my kitchen, organized my home, repaired a broken kitchen drawer, worked in the garden, painted summer skies, and prepared some of my favorite seasonal recipes.
