How to Know When to Talk and When to Listen
Most conversation advice tells you to talk less. And honestly? That's solid — but it's only half the picture.
In this video I break down the adjustment I had to make after constantly misjudging how much to say. Sometimes I'd talk over people. Other times I'd go quiet and we'd both stall out. Neither worked.
The fix wasn't a universal rule. It was learning to read who I was actually talking to — and adjusting accordingly.
I cover:
How to talk to expressive, naturally talkative people (and why silence mid-story isn't your cue)
How to talk to quieter, more reserved people (and why going quiet yourself backfires)
Why "talk less" is incomplete advice — and what to do instead
This is real stuff I'm still working through — not tips from someone who figured it all out.
