All right guys, this is part two
of the water pump replacement video.
So you can see if we look at our coolant exchange machine
from video one, it took a while,
maybe about 30 minutes or so,
but it finally did finish draining the coolant
out of this guy for me.
So now we're ready to start disassembling this water pump.
So what I already did off camera is I took our pulley
and I pulled the belt off of the water pump.
So you can see the belt's not on there anymore.
So what I'm gonna do next is,
forget the camera in here,
there's a few mounting bolts that just go straight
through the water pump housing into the block.
I gotta take those off and I may end up having
to take this bracket off that holds this line right here
because I think, I have a feeling it might be in the way.
And then after I get those bolts out,
what I'm really worried about is do I have the clearance
to pull this out without taking anything else off?
I think the answer to that question is gonna be,
I will be able to, but I'll let you know.
I'm not gonna bore you guys to death.
There's a couple of mounting bolts.
I just gotta back them off, pull the old pump out,
and then I'll kind of show you what it looks like
when we're done.
