Hello everybody, welcome back to my channel. I'm so excited to have you here today. Like always,
if you're not subscribed already, make sure you hit that subscribe button. And if you enjoyed
this video, please give it a thumbs up. Today's video, we're going to be decorating the mantle
and my entryway table. One of my last videos, I talked about how I'm about to start making my
house feel more like a home and just cozy and everything, just getting ready for the baby to
be here. And with that brings like company into our home. We never really have people over, but
when the baby gets here, you know, people are going to be coming over and I just want it to
feel like home here. So I want to get the mantle and the entryway table to where they're decorated
and it just feels like cozy in here. I think we're getting the new couches in about two weeks.
I am so excited about that. It's going to make the living room just feel so much more cozy,
like I said, they're not really aesthetically pleasing, but they're going to be comfortable
and perfect for guests and perfect for just lounging with a newborn baby. So I just kind
of want to get everything ready for when the couches get here. So that's what we're going
to do today's video. Just focus on the living room, focus on making things cozy in here.
And I hope you guys enjoy it, but we're going to go ahead and get right into decorating. I'm so
excited. I've got all the decor, not all of it, but most things I'm going to be pulling from in
today's video. A lot of this is from my Hobby Lobby haul that I did the other day where I got
all of this stuff for under $50, such a good deal. But I did want to show y'all, I got these little
candle like sconces to go on the entryway table by, not on it, but by the mirror. And I think
these are going to be so like just the perfect little detail. They were only $11 on Amazon for
the pack of two. And I'm just really excited to have that there so I can swap out the
candlesticks for like each season. And I think it's going to make a really big difference
in that area. And it's such a cheap way to like make things cozy. This is kind of this stack I'm
going to go with, I think for the mantle that kind of goes with the little inspiration picture
that I have. And then I just have like this candle maybe for the entryway table. This will
be for the mantle. I don't know if I'm going to be using this or not. It's just out just in case.
And then I forgot I had this from last year, this little swan planter, but it's so cute
up on that stool. I just sat it there for just to like have everything out and that might be
perfect somewhere. So I'm excited to see where that ends up going. And of course these candle
holders from Hobby Lobby that I got on their home clearance sale. And then how beautiful
these are. They are $199 at Hobby Lobby. They're not on sale, but just a good price. And I have
three of those because I'm going to do three candle holders on the mantle. And then I love
that base from Hobby Lobby. It was $549 and that's definitely going on the mantle too. This as well,
it was $599 at Hobby Lobby. So I think I'm going to stack those two on top of each other. And then
I just have the larger base out for the entryway table. That's something I got at Target. I think
it's the hearth and hand line, but I think I'm going to use it without greenery in it.
And then I don't know if I'm going to use this or not on the entryway. We'll see. I just kind
of have it out. It's one of my favorites. I got it at Target a couple of years ago and I just
love the way that it looks. I love the white flowers on it. I think it's perfect for summer
and spring. So that could be cute somewhere as well. I like to lay everything out so I can see
what I have to choose from. So we're going to go ahead and start by decorating the mantle.
All right. So first we're focusing on the mantle and I am having such a tough time having this TV
like up here. So what I did was I went on YouTube and I found a fun little frame. I think the frame
does play ads, but for now this is just perfect because it's not like you don't have the eyesore
of looking at just the big black TV. And I wish there was nothing on this wall, honestly, because
I love decorating a mantle, but it's just not realistic. This is where we'll watch TV and
movies and stuff like that as a family. So the TV definitely has to be here. So we're going to work
on decorating the mantle while working with a big TV mounted on the wall above it. So first we're
going to wipe it down and then we're going to start on my little inspiration picture. I'm just
going to wipe the surface down with these pledge wipes. I've been loving these for dusting because
they smell so good and they really keep the dust off of the surface for a while.
All right, this is the final look for the entryway table and I love it. I feel like
the candle sconces really just added so much and it just made it so cozy over here.
I did have to use the candlesticks from the mantle just to see. I thought I had regular
cream candlesticks to go in here, but I don't. So I'm going to have to pick up some more at
Hobby Lobby, but I've got those in there for now just for the look. And I do have two lamps
over here. One is the floor lamp over there from Walmart. And then this one's also from Walmart.
I decided to swap out the checkered lamp for this. And then I just added a picture. I also just added
my candle from the Hearth and Hand fall line and it smells so good. And it's kind of like
reminding me of fall and just kind of transitioning to that eventually. But I put the jar there just
because I love it so much. This is a lot different than what I normally would do,
but I really like it and I love having the candle over here. And then just the books and the bowl
right here. This bowl is from Hobby Lobby from a while back. And then my books are, you can either
get them on Amazon or at HomeGoods, but I would eventually like to get a bigger entryway table
just because I want this area over here to be just a statement, maybe even like a light wood one.
But for now, I love this one that I got off Amazon a couple years ago. I've definitely got
my use out of it is so, so nice. And I think it was like $70, maybe I might be wrong. It was a
while ago when I got it, but I have been loving it. So I love this little area over here in the
living room and I'm loving the lamp lights as well. It just also helps make the space so cozy.
And then over here for now, I'm just using the stool with the swan just as a little centerpiece
in the dining table. And I love the way that looks. I got this, the basket and the swan are
thrifted. And then stool is from Hobby Lobby on clearance a couple of days ago. And then the
greenery is from Target a couple of years ago. They don't make it anymore. I wish they did. I
love it so much, but I just wanted to show you all where it ended up putting these pieces,
but thank you guys so much for watching today's video. I hope you enjoyed it.
And I will see you all next week.
