We Taste Tested Our Swamp Water Seltzer… And It Shocked Us -

We're doing the taste test of the swamp water seltzer this is uh My woman my fiancee the lady who puts up with me puts up with big rob She's got me drinking out of a wine glass, which very rare say hi carla. This is carla. Hi everybody We're doing the uh taste test guys, we call it the swamp water, but it's pretty clear So it's actually not going to be swamp water. I don't think this one is the uh Can't read my writing Bb brewer's best black cherry three quarters of teaspoons So they all know what it is because they saw the bottling video ready for the nice beer to get going I think you want to say before we do this. No, let's go. It should be a nice pop if not with ruin from the get-go Nice nice Would you like to do the honors or i'll do it for you? You do it. Okay Okay There we go. Very exciting. You say when I always fear more. Oh, that's nice color Not bad. There's a little yellow tint. Keep going and have it all I gotta have some That's cool. So I still have a little of the yellow tint but that's because of the minerals in my water If you use purified water not purified, you know purified or uh, that'd be a reverse of most of the water. It wouldn't have that Wait for me. Don't get carried away All right You got more than me. I know looks nice. We do the old fancy Smell and swirl. What was that? No, we're not. Can you smell anything? Can you smell the cherry though? So this one I did two of the brewer's best one was three quarters a teaspoon And one was half. She's a seltzer drinker. I don't drink seltzer So I don't know if this is good or bad. I told her to be honest. She's very nice. She won't be honest Be honest, it tastes like ---- Oh It's actually really good No, i'm not lying. It's not like I don't like seltzers. I mean it's just Anyway, it's really good. It's really good. Yeah, it's really good. Oh, that's cool. That's it guys. How about that? first time brewing the old seltzer and I got the uh, it's pretty you're just cleared and like look at the bottom of the uh, I got the bottom of the the bottom of the bottle would have some of the sugar on the bottom one's a little cloudier Yours is much clearer Um, so we're also going to eat but you can pick up the cherry smell to it It's really good So again, this is a brewer's best flavoring that we use Um, i'm gonna try we're gonna keep this video rolling. Um, we're going to yours looks really good Look at the difference. That's the bottom of the glass versus bottom of the bottle versus the top I should have known how to pour that better than I did for myself Uh, we're getting one. We got peach and then we've also got I think half a teaspoon of the Brewer's best cherry So we're gonna try that and uh, then we've got two plain that we're gonna mix with meal and try that out right Right boss, you're gonna chug that they love when people chug. Okay That'll be bad for me Well, it's good she's the expert I have no idea to me it's just I don't i'm a beer guy Anyway, we'll be back for the next little taste test. Whoo. Anything you want to say? I said we should have the camera on It's it's it's it's not super carbonated, but she says it's a good carbonation, but you can see it is there is carbonation I think I used one teaspoon per that's a 16 ounce bottle. So yes the answer question is yes more sugar makes it more carbonated But what happens as I've explained to her because she when I first talked about making this she was concerned that they'd be what sweet Or some of them have vodka. So they're not sweet. This is made from This is made from uh dextrose sugar So it's just water and sugar that you ferment with yeast Then what happens once it's done fermenting you put it in the bottle You add more sugar the carbonate yeast comes back alive the yeast eats the sugar And it makes alcohol and co2 hence the carbonation capisce We'll be back with the next taste test She's got something to say We're still on the first batch. I just and we're getting a little buzz on here Um, I asked her if we wanted to do the cherry next we got a cherry at half teaspoon I said this is three quarters and I said could it have more flavor? I think it could have it's delicious, but I think it could have More flavoring i'm, uh, i'm a flavor girl and she is the flavor girl I'm gonna leave that right there. But yeah Um, she won't leave that right there No, i'm gonna drink this for sure. So that's interesting so we could do a teaspoon maybe next time I think maybe a teaspoon will be nice So we're gonna try the meal ones too because we did I said we had some plain ones So we're just gonna add meal because you couldn't add the meal to the bottle because there's sugar in it The bottom one exploded and it's carbonating so can't do that This flavoring didn't have sugar Yeah When I turn the camera off she talks a lot I do All right, we're gonna what do we try next the peach or the other black cherry? We're going peach Peachy, okay, you can take it away on this one bubbly This is Don't shake it. I'll get all the cinnamon. I'm not shaking. No, no tell them first. What's it say? You can't read my writing So this one is That's not coming and you guys can't see it any better and she can and you really probably couldn't read it. Yeah, we can't No, no, so this one is bubbly flavoring where the last one was brewed best And i'm getting a buzz from that already Now this is peach And it's half a teaspoon. The last one is three quarters, but a different type of deal So, yeah, you want to just pop that Made me jump that sounded that sounded a little more carbonated in the last one It did I'll give you the first part. Yeah, just don't tilt it up too late and you get all the sediment from the bottom He doesn't trust me pouring this We're good, that's good, that's good. Yep. There you go, sir So that looks nice lots of carbonation lots of bubbles coming up from it does still have that little yelting but it's not bad It's not the swamp water that I was calling this How's yours? It looks the same as yours. Yeah Cheers smell it smell any peach she's ready to start drinking However We went on a trip when we first started dating to vegas and she said to me should I dress for drinks for drugs? I fell in love It's like always drags when we dress for drinks, but we definitely had drags I'm not picking up picking up much peach for you Yep The flavor. Oh, yeah. Oh way more flavor. It's more flavor than the cherry one You wouldn't want to do any more than half it only would you? Definitely more flavored. So the last one was brewer's best flavoring black cherry for beer and wine This is bubbly like the one is bubbly, uh hard stuff not hard seltzer just seltzer Right like soda stream. Yeah. Yeah flavor for that Pretty what do you think? It's good Too much flavor too little. No, definitely not too much I don't like as much as a cherry But again, i'm not a seltzer guy at all zero. She said it tastes better than white cloth Well, it would be hard not to You're watching this video It's good, but I think it is a little bit more carbonated too That's interesting same amount of sugar I don't like it as much. I like the cherry better It's good. You like it. You see a lot of you see a lot of tell the truth. I said don't lie It tastes like ----. You gotta tell me it tastes like no, I would tell you because I wouldn't drink it. Yeah But I do I do like the peach Do you like the peach? I don't like it as much for some reason Don't know don't know I need a beer All right any words of wisdom to give me where we get the next one Have a beer We need to slow down we're gonna be hammered we're gonna space out the next one what comes next we're gonna do the uh, Plain one and then add mio or we're doing the other cherry one I don't know I lost track of cherry Stay tuned So she just said that the what'd you say the bubbly I think the bubbly Is the front runner over the brewer's what'd you say best brewer's best. It has a better. Um It feels like a better flavor. I don't know if maybe The brewer's best could be up to a teaspoon that is it was a half teaspoon of the cherry that we tasted originally quarters Three quarters, excuse me Um peach was half The peach was half of the bubbly. Yeah, the brewer's best was three quarters Peach was half Teaspoon of the bubbly and this is cherry bubbly half teaspoon but that's just me my preference if I have a seltzer, I like to um Be able to taste the flavor of seltzer that i'm having so it might be too much for some but you like to taste the flavor I do. I like to taste Peach or cherry or I found that the half teaspoon of the peach was definitely stronger than the three quarters best Well, that's what you're saying, right? 100. Yeah 100% 100% So We're gonna do the uh, she's not rinsing her glass. I rinsed my glass only that isn't this time Not being very proper Little all right, we still have something in there. Okay, i'll drink it he's gonna be hammered by the time we're done taste us I may be now I didn't pop as much. No, because I think I kept my hand on it. That's okay. No, it's all right This time This time. Yep. Oh, i'm not seeing a lot of carbonation in that. Oh, yeah. Yeah, there it is. There it is How's the smell? Oh Strong, so this is bubbly cherry Bubbly cherry and the first one was brewer's best black cherry. Okay, this kind of smells promising It smells promising looks good. You're all looking pretty decent. I don't mind the color because that color's not bad It's like a light wine What's the word? It's good. Definitely has a lot more aroma than the brewer's best. It's more cherry than the brewer's best Definitely yeah, so what do you think i'm not the sales are good This one's my favorite so far, oh Nice, it's good. Nice So enough flavoring too little too much Well, I like to be able to taste the flavoring. So yeah, we got that and you got that. Okay So more more or less Oh, definitely not less. No more. What is this a half teaspoon of bubbly? What is it? I could probably I know you could hit me with a little bit more Maybe three quarters. So compared to I don't drink saucers. So compared to other saucers. How is the flavor? or some of the more You drink white clover when you have to what I don't like white cloth because I don't feel like it has like enough flavoring So is this more flavoring than white cloth? Oh, yeah water has more flavoring than white Sorry white cloth um Um, what's the other one you like course course is it course course slushy? I like how's the flavoring? Are they more than this? Yeah Of course. Oh, so she's in more flavor. Yeah, and you like those. I do. She's being nice. You want more flavor or not? Hit me with a flavoring more flavor so I guess we tried three quarters teaspoon next time, but it'll probably be kegging next time. So I'll have to figure that out We're making a keg of this. Oh boy We're gonna do um the plain and we're gonna have meal too Okay, because you couldn't add the meal. I think I already said that i've said in some of the other videos You can't add the meal to the bottle and carbonated because there's sugar in the meal, which is bad Um could have a bottle bomb Whereas the bubbly and the brew is best on sugar There's sugar in the oh, I did not know that there is wow, you might be able to get sugar free I don't know the ones I got have sugar devastating All right Anything else any words of wisdom? You'll have lots Seltzer's working A lot of seltzer Oh boy, we're going we've decided we're going dancing now We gotta wrap this up because we're hitting the town my seltzer's work seltzers are Okay, let's go This is plain We're gonna we're gonna flavor this with some meal So yeah, we're gonna do two glasses One's gonna be blueberry lemonade. Yeah, there's gonna be strawberry water. Okay That was carbonated Yes, sir. Yeah So what it's telling you if you don't tilt that too much then the ---- from the bottom will come up tilt the glass more Yeah, i'm i'm not a brewer clearly. I'm just a drinker Very good at it, too. I am Okay, perfect one perfect four. No, sorry. No one for you one for me One for me One two for me no, okay one for you and one for me Okay, so we're doing uh, you're gonna use the mills. He's gonna dump her in. No, we're not gonna measure I'm gonna you're gonna measure. I think we should okay Here's your eighth of a teaspoon. So we said we said did a little research with my old chat dpt Buddy called brewster and he said 0.5 mils. So this is 0.625 So what we're gonna do we're gonna do blueberry lemonade. This is gonna stain your coffee your pot my table cloth Coffee my linen table cloth Look at that. He's doing it right over the glass. God. Oh, is that color? Of course it does Swishy swishy Oh, look at that. That's cool. Look at the color. That's kind of neat All right, i'll measure two just so I don't this might be too much flavor, I don't know 0.625 mils This is the blueberry lemonade Oh, this is we didn't do cherry this time because we've already had cherry There's a strawberry watermelon bam and I flavor beer with this guys at my brew pubs works great As long as you keep the uh beer cold Like I said, because there's sugar in that so if you keep it in the keg and keeping your keger it works Well, mine's pink. Oh, wow, that would sell wouldn't it? We're gonna start a seltzer business. We are yeah That one's a little no, that's still cool, too. That's cool Look how pretty oh Yeah, so pretty That's important. Oh That was weird Oh, I like it though not too much flavor No, I think you could have more Well, let me try that first before you add some more I'm not a seltzer guy. I'm kind of like It's not my thing Oh, that one's better. That one's better than you blueberry lemonade Yeah, strawberry watermelon is better than the blueberry lemonade in my opinion You think it needs more flavor? Yeah, you gotta measure it. He's going for it. We're not measuring anything I'm just gonna give it a shot of blueberry. That's enough to do a whole keg of beer. No, it's not Look at the color there. That's really pretty it is. No, it's much bluer. That's for sure It's a lot. Okay. No, it's good. Oh, wow, but you don't know how much we put in so we have no idea Just a just a little like squirt There you go Oh, yeah, that is better so much better. Yeah, it's much better. You don't measure with measuring spoons. Oh, that's really good You measure with your heart that's actually really you do you measure with your heart no, i'm getting now what you're talking about more flavor required because That's uh measure with your heart. Okay. This is officially now my favorite Meal for the win measure with your heart Yeah, it's my favorite That's good. That is good. That one's good, too. Did you have that? Yeah, I know but you've got to give it enough mio to like give it some oomph We're putting the oomph in the seltzer, that's what we'll call it start our seltzer company That's a winner i'm done with my brew pub sold that years ago moving into seltzer So easy to make too crazy Anyway, well, that's fun. We're gonna get we're gonna get past um anything you want to say No, i'm quite happy right now. That's a first Cheers guys. So that was success. That's cool. If she likes it, that's a success because she's a seltzer drinker No, she's not a beer drinker i've tried guys Yeah, i've so tired. We first started dating. She tried to tell me that she likes stouts, but that was a lie No, I know but I can't drink a stout which is weird. I got some guinness in the fridge there You want to get in them? So, uh, we're gonna uh, that's it We do have the one left, but it's a half a teaspoon of uh brewers best She thought there wasn't enough flavor in the three quarters of teaspoons, so we're not gonna I don't know. I think I think I can I think I can Doctor it up though meal is definitely the one so if I make a keg if I make a keg Maybe the way to do is just do a plane do a plane.
