The man with the pan.
Oh yeah, big shocker.
Hey guess what, man.
Here's the greatest lady of all in one meal.
But who's the fastest chef?
The man with the pan.
Oh yeah, big shocker.
Hey guess what, the prettiest girl in town shopping at KTA.
What do you want to tell everyone out there?
The man with the pan at KTA. He's the best.
Happy New Year.
Yeah, right on.
Hey guess what, man.
You got Franco Pro City over here.
But you know what?
Who's the fastest chef?
The man with the pan.
Oh yeah, big shocker.
Hey guess what, man.
We got two of the most amazing people around here in Hilo.
But who's the fastest chef?
The man with the pan.
Oh yeah, big shocker.
Welcome to the man and the pan.
Today I'm going to do something super exciting for you.
You know, I got this amazing, amazing Durock 1916 Pork Chop from High Life Pork Company all in Canada.
And you know what?
This is Durock Pork.
It's made for shipping to Japan.
But they ship to KTA.
I'm going to make some Pork Chops Tonkatsu style.
And I have now this 1916 Katsu batter.
The batter is so simple.
The packet says one and a half cup of ice water to one cup of Katsu mix.
But I'll just go half cup of ice water and half cup of Katsu mix.
You just need a little Katsu batter mix.
Because it is a substitute for flour and eggs, enabling the panko to stick on the meat.
The remainder, put it in a bag and put it in your refrigerator.
Get out of the bowl and put in some panko.
And what you do is you see a pan?
Put in some oil.
You got to put kind of plenty of oil.
I like to season my Pork Chops.
You put in some Hawaiian salt.
I get this seasoning from Kalunoki.
Put some Hawaiian salt.
Put some garlic on here.
And some ginger.
On the side, you chop some onions.
You like to eat Pork Chops with onions.
It tastes really good.
I just put some seasoning.
I got some boneless Pork Chops here.
Dip them inside some Katsu sauce.
And coat them with the panko.
Just like that.
And fry it.
Here's a tip.
You notice how the panko flew all over the place?
You can also do this.
Put the panko inside a plastic bag like this.
Put your Pork Chops in that's already marinating the Katsu meat.
And just shake it all around.
And you fry the Pork Chops on medium to medium-high heat.
Okay.
We get ready.
Oh, yeah.
Look at that.
Wow.
So this Pork Chop is kind of thick.
So what I also can do, you can actually cover it.
So that it cooks much faster and it cooks on the inside.
Okay.
I think it's done.
Nice, thick, juicy Pork Chops.
Right over here on the board.
So I wipe the pan to get all of the bread crumbs.
Put a little oil in here.
Let's get some chopped onion.
Dump them in there and fry it.
Put on some seasoning.
And you can also add some black pepper right in there.
I got my plate.
Put on some chopped onions.
Right.
My Pork Chops.
Cut it up into pieces.
Here you go.
The burger looks good.
But let's see how it tastes.
Let's see.
Get some onions.
Get some pork.
Oh.
Wow.
It's so good.
Mmm.
Until next time.
We'll see you on the Man in the Pan.
So good.
Aloha.
