Helicopter precision work Power Line construction with a Super Puma in the Swiss Alps

Für die Stromversorgung im Nikolaital in der Nähe von Zermatt erstellt der Stromversorger Valgrid SA eine neue Stromleitung. Für den Bau der Stromleitung in dieser Bergregion brauchte es zahlreiche Transporte per Helikopter. Zuerst für das Betonieren der Fundamente und dann für die Montage der neuen Masten. Die Stahlmasten beim Dorf Stalden wurden im Frühjahr 2026 von einer eingespielten Crew mit Hilfe des AS332L1 Super Puma OE-XLP von Heli Austria montiert, der für den Schweizer Ableger der Firma, die Heli Air AG, im Einsatz stand. For the power supply in the Nikolai Valley near Zermatt in Switzerland, thecompany Valgrid SA is constructing a new power line. Building this line in the mountainous region required numerous helicopter transports — first for pouring the concrete foundations and then for assembling the new pylons.
The steel pylons near the village of Stalden were erected in spring 2026 by an experienced crew, using the AS332L1 Super Puma OE-XLP operated by Heli Austria, which was deployed for the company’s Swiss subsidiary, Heli Air AG. An impressive coordination between the pilot of the Super Puma heavy-lift helicopter and the crew on the ground and on the pylons.
