Originally from South Tyrol, Italy, he began his professional helicopter career at the age of 21 and joined the Flying Bulls in 2012. Today he flies an impressive range of helicopters, including the BO 105, Cobra, Bell 47 and EC135. The BO 105 is often described as the "sports car" of the Flying Bulls fleet, and Mirko's dynamic display routine showcases exactly why. Beyond air shows, his flying career ranges from business aviation missions to complex aerial filming operations around the world.
Matthias Schwaighofer – Bell Cobra
Matthias Schwaighofer's dream of becoming a helicopter pilot began as a child during a helicopter flight to Austria's Dachstein mountains. His passion for aviation, combined with extensive operational experience, makes him a key member of the Flying Bulls helicopter team.
Together, Mirko and Matthias represent the next generation of Flying Bulls helicopter pilots, preserving and displaying some of the world's rarest and most spectacular rotorcraft for aviation enthusiasts around the globe.
