I Drove to Turkey’s Hidden 12,000-Year-Old Site… What I Found Will Shock You!

I drove deep into the remote Tek Tek Mountains of southeastern Turkey to reach one of the most important — and still largely unknown — archaeological sites in the world: Karahan Tepe.

This 11,400-year-old site was built by hunter-gatherers long before farming existed, and fresh evidence suggests it may actually be older than Göbekli Tepe. Inside this video, I share what I discovered on the ground… including the brand-new 2025 find that’s turning heads — a T-shaped pillar with a carved human face.

But there’s also a darker side to this story that I need to talk about.
