Another restoration project on an unknown artist's painting, "Female Portrait," from the second half of the 19th century, has been completed.

A comprehensive restoration project was completed, and the original intent and coloring of the painting were restored.

The cardboard on the back of the painting was removed, the primer and paint layer were reinforced, the reverse side of the painting was cleaned, the work was duplicated on a new canvas, stretched on a new stretcher, the missing parts were primed, dirt and old yellowed varnish were removed, the missing parts were toned, and the painting was coated with a new protective layer of varnish.
