Polish MUA Gas Mask Review and Test

Review and Test of the Polish MUA Gas Mask, the Polish MUA was also known officially as the SzM-41M KF, it is the second generation of the Polish OM14, which was the Polish variant of the Soviet ShM-41 Gas Mask.
The mask is similar in many ways to the Soviet PMG-2, it is the conventional helmet style hood respirator with a voice diaphragm near the nose section, however the voice diaphragm on the MUA is much smaller than the PMG-2, as a result, the wearer's voice is quieter but less distorted than a PMG-2.
During testing the aerosol smell kept getting into my nostrils, I theorize this might be a small tear in the actual hose of the mask, attaching the filter to the mask fixed that problem.
The filter used is a 40mm GOST ABEK rated canister produced by MASKPOL.
