Every immigrant to Canada has a story, dreams and hopes, and thousands of them have shaped Canada's multiculturalism. Artists from different cultures and backgrounds have also become the achievers of Canada's diversity in art.

As an old Chinese saying goes, "It is hard to leave one's homeland," and this is also the bond that Chinese people have had with their hometowns and families for thousands of years. However, there are some artists who, for their own reasons, decided to leave their hometowns and come to Canada to start a new life from scratch.

In this film, we interviewed three Chinese artists who have moved to Canada. Is life in Canada so different from what they once expected? What kinds of frustrations and surprises have you experienced? Is their artistic journey continuing in Canada and expanding into a new world? How do they immerse themselves in Canada's multicultural and artistic life?

The film aims to show the lives of immigrant artists, their real pains and joys, and their interactions with Canadian society, as well as to contrast the differences in the two societies and systems that treat art and artists differently.
