The Way Home: Obed's Story Turns Pages

Obed came to Union Rescue Mission carrying addiction, depression, and years of broken relationships. Through URM’s Emmaus Program and Learning Center, he found healing, hope, and a fresh start.
Once unable to read, Obed can now read books to his children and apply for jobs on his own. Today, he serves in URM’s Distribution Center and is preparing for welding training through URM’s partnership with Reignite Hope.
His story is a powerful reminder that transformation is possible when someone is given the chance to begin again.
