I Recreated a Traditional Ojibwe Bow
3 Video Views·Apr 20, 2026
In this video, I recreate a traditional Ojibwe-style hunting bow — this time for fellow YouTuber North02.
The Ojibwe (Chippewa) people were known for practical woodland hunting bows built for survival and efficiency. My goal was to stay true to the historic design while crafting something functional and worthy of being used.
In this build:
• Wood selection and layout
• Shaping and floor tillering
• Final tiller and weight
• Shooting test
Building a bow for another creator adds pressure — it has to perform.
Let me know what historical bow you want me to recreate next.
