ICE SKATING AT THE GALLERIA MALL | Dallas, Texas

Hey guys, David Hoffman here from davidsbeenhere.com here in Dallas at the Westin Galleria and today we're doing a full day here at the mall. If you didn't know the Galleria Mall has over 200 shops and restaurants and movie theater right under the pool and it also has an ice skating rink. I haven't gone ice skating in I think like two decades or something so. So this is the executive lounge and this is the breakfast. They have granola, eggs, oatmeal, bagels and fruit. Oh it was amazing. This is the in-room spa service. Basically the hotel doesn't have a spa so they offer this service. A licensed massage therapist comes to your room, sets up the board and they give you a massage either 60 minutes or 90 minutes. Deep tissue is around 130, 140 dollars but it's definitely worth it. I'm like just pass out here right now. So now we're headed to the pool. Fourth floor pool to chill, soak up that Texas sun. Fourth floor. Cool. Nice. Well this is amazing. There's no one here. We have the whole pool to ourselves. Oh let's go Melina. Ready to jump in? She's ready. Jump in. I'm gonna jump in really fast. So we're finally going to the Galleria Mall to explore two hundred stores and restaurants, go ice skating and grab a snack. And the amazing part about staying at the Westin Galleria is that you're inside the mall. Before I go I bought my brother a t-shirt. I'm gonna try to find him a t-shirt and this looks like a great store. It's called Texas Treasures. Let's go inside. It's typical Texas right? Perfect. How do I look? What do you think? I think he's gonna wear it a lot. Thank you. It's time for a snack. We're hungry. Plain tart. Now let's put some toppings. Bam okay. So we got rocky road and we got chocolate and we got Oreo. Ice skating. That's what this mall is famous for. All right we're ready to go. Perfect. Let's do it. Some of these little girls are way better than me at this but in all respect I live in Miami. We don't really have this. I learned how to rollerblade but watch this. This is fun. Very different from rollerblading. Let's go. Oh my god. So I just got finished ice skating. Worked up a huge sweat. I forgot how much I like skating. Wow that was a workout. Now let's head back to the hotel and get ready for dinner. We're dining tonight at the second floor restaurant here at the Westin. Bam right there. Basically this is the main restaurant of the hotel. It's everything they have on the room service menu but they also have a few other specials. Pleasure. Nice to meet you. David's all the best. My wife Anna. All right so we're starting off with the Community Mosaic IPA. It's from it's from here from Dallas, Texas. Because they have a big list of Texan craft beers you can see right here. So here I have the Mosaic IPA. Oh yeah extremely hoppy. What is it? So we're starting off with a charcuterie board, some brisket tacos. We ordered a Texan burger and black bean hummus. And the executive chef here he won an award for his brisket. His brisket is out of control. So good. Chicken liver. Proper cheese with a thing. That I went to heaven for this. This is like the perfect restaurant for my father. Here we have El Chingon IPA. American hops with Munich malt. And it's supposed to be cranking your chingon orale. That's so different. Oh my god. This is way better than regular hummus. So here we have the main course, the Texan burger. I love the crunch of the fried onion. This is a bomb burger. TX whiskey. It's from Fort Worth. I always tell people it's not going to change your life but it goes down real easy. It's delicious. Today we had an amazing day at the Westin Galleria Anthem Mall. And I'm finishing my meal right now with Texas whiskey from right here in Fort Worth. And tomorrow we're going to Fort Worth. So cheers. I'm taking this to the room. Let's go.
