New Games!

Shelby are you ready to do some exercise? You look like you're ready to exercise. You look like you're the dog straight out of the 80s. So we left her stitches unwrapped for a little bit. But we've just recently rewrapped them because now she keeps licking them again. Stop licking your stitches. You can't keep licking your stitches. But she is doing really good. You're doing really good, aren't you? You're like, something's happening. You're talking to me for a reason. Am I? Am I talking to you for a reason? Good, wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience. How is everybody doing today? We're all doing pretty... Are you gonna eat my finger? Really? What? Here's some... Okay. So I know a lot of you guys probably have a question after yesterday's video. We were trying to talk about how we're helping and volunteering and working with a bunch of people to form a new animal facility here in Alpena. As things move along with that, we will definitely tell you guys more about what's going on. Some of you may have read the articles and found out that I am actually the board president for the new animal facility, which is pretty cool. I've already gotten some tweets from you guys and a lot of you are really excited about it. We're really excited about it. We have big dreams, big goals, and I just... I'm... I got a phone call from a lady this morning that just made my whole day. This is going to be amazing. I'm super excited about it. We're super excited about it. We're gonna work with shelters all around us and work with rescues and we're gonna do fun things and we're gonna make things amazing for the animals in our county and in northern Michigan. I think we are. What do you think? You think we are? Today is actually game night. So I don't know how much of today we will actually vlog, but I wanted to show you guys something cool. So there is a link down below to let you guys know some of the games that we play for game night. I'm gonna try to remember to add these. I don't know if this one is on Amazon yet, but this is one of the new games that I just got that we're gonna try playing today. It was... I bought it from DFTBA.com. I don't actually think it's on Amazon. It's a pretty interesting game. You're supposed to say a phrase. So you would say, you know, Popeye the... And the people have to give an answer that starts with S but they can't say sailor and they only have three seconds to come up with an answer. It's... It's... It's gonna be actually kind of interesting and it'll be fun when we have a lot of people. And then the next game that I got that was new. This was a Kickstarter game that I saw quite a while ago and I was really interested in. It's called Unstable Unicorns. And this game is pretty cool. You basically build a unicorn army. For those of you that know, we've played Exploding Kittens. It kind of reminds me of like a more advanced version of Exploding Kittens. And then this game... Well, this game you don't want to get unless you're older than 18 probably because I think this it even says an offensive card game. This is more of an adult type card game, but it's a fun game. It's like you make a little comic strip from the Makers of Cyanide and Happiness. So that's the other game that we got. Mike and Brittany actually had this game and we liked it so much we bought a copy to have here at the house. So we now have Joking Hazard, Unstable Unicorns and Rolf. Rolf. Roll on, let... Rolf. I don't know. It's right as fun with phrases. All right. What? You wanna go outside? Is that what you'd like? You'd like to go... Shelby's like, I thought you were letting me outside a minute ago. Okay, let's go outside. Holy man. It's sunny. It's nice. It's too bad you have stitches. We could have went sledding today. I don't even have a coat on and I'm out here right now. Oakley's like, it's awesome out. Yeah, it's actually really nice out. It's supposed to be nice the next couple weeks. So hopefully right after Shelby gets her stitches out, we can do some more sledding. That was the only downfall to her having stitches right now. I was like, this is prime sledding time. And she probably could still go out and pull the sled. The vet even said that as long as we keep her feet wrapped. But I would rather not take that chance. We don't need her to be popping any stitches. So during game night, the other two dogs always tend to come downstairs. And even though we've actually carried Oakley downstairs, when she gets down there, she freaks out. So sometimes during game night when she's up here all by herself, were you excited? She gets a present. And this is only Oakley gets this because the other dogs are downstairs. So Oakley gets a Kong with some peanut butter just for her. What's really funny is we'll usually watch her on the drop cam. And she'll munch on that for a little while and then she'll go take a nap. So it makes her super happy. We also, I just shut the radio off, but we also leave the radio on up here for her. So she has some background noise. I was gonna say, you know how to do that. What are you doing? Goofy dog. You enjoy that. I'll be back up here to check on you in a little bit. You're so cute. So I showed you guys a couple of new games that we got for game night and game night's pretty much over. Everybody else left. Greg's still here, but he's getting ready to leave. But which one of the new games was your favorite? Probably the unicorn one. Unstable Unicorns? Yeah, because it was that one in the ROFL game. Yeah. Yeah, ROFL game I think would be fun with a bunch of people that you don't want to explain rules to. Right, but we only had what six people here tonight? Yeah, yeah five. Yeah math. Which one was your favorite? I'd have to agree. I think the silly unicorn one was. It was a there was a lot to it. But like Greg said the other the other one would be the ROFL would be fun if you uh, wrote down the things. Yeah, we could write down our answers and not just shout them out. Well, maybe next weekend because I think Mike and Ashley are coming next weekend too. Maybe we'll play that one next weekend. I think so. Cool. Have fun driving home. It's like five degrees outside. Yeah, it's fine. I started my Jeep. Oh, and remember it's Winterfest night and it's midnight. So... Drive slow. Drive slow. You don't live far away. Yeah, but the thing's right there. I know that's what I said. Go the other way. Go the other way. They won't pull you over. They won't pull you over anyway, because you're too old. I know. They'll run my plate and see that I'm old. Right. And for anybody that's gonna ask, don't worry. Greg doesn't drink anyway. He'll be the first person to pull over. I had two root beers today. Oh root beer. It's been like... two or three weeks. Yeah, it has been a while. All right. You know I'm gonna get up, huh? Because it's baffy and it is. Yeah. All right. Go home. We're gonna let the dogs in. Bye. So you guys might notice that Shelby has bells on again, but she has no purple wrap on her feet because she keeps ripping the purple wrap off her feet. So we're gonna attempt it with the bells again. And see if that helps us hear her. I think it's gonna be harder because I don't think we're gonna hear the bells as much when she's trying to lick her front feet. Did we show you guys her stitches? Ready? If you're squeamish, look away. They actually don't look bad though. So there's the stitches on one foot and then the stitches on the other foot are right in there. They really don't look bad. They actually look like they're healing really well, even though she does keep trying to lick them. Stop licking your stitches. You'll give yourself a granuloma. You'll give yourself infection. Stop licking the stitches. Hopefully now we'll hear it. We should put bells on your ankles. Then we'd hear it for sure. So we are here at St. Ann's Church because Fat Tuesday is this week. Greg's here with me and we are picking up punchkies and I just wanted to show you guys. This is what they do. They literally come here and they make all these different punchkies. And it's... I wish you guys had smell-o-vision because it smells amazing. And I don't know if you can see. See there's people sitting there and sitting there. They're actually using the little fryers and frying punchkies and I wasn't hungry until I walked in here, but now I'm hungry. So I showed you guys the clip of when we went to go pick up punchkies when we were at the church. But I forgot to film after we grabbed them and we pretty much ate all the icing ones. Good thing there's a lot of people here and then these are some of the raisin and date ones we got. They're super super good. If you've never had punchkies before, you should totally have one. Fat Tuesday. Gotta have punchkies. If... We don't have a deep fryer which is one of the things I want to get so we can make a couple different things on the cooking channel. If we would have had a deep fryer before Fat Tuesday, we were gonna try to show you guys how to make real punchkies, but we don't have one. If you've never had a punchkie before, they're like deep-fried jelly-filled doughnuts, but they're not exactly like deep-fried jelly-filled doughnuts. I don't know how to explain it. They're really really good and you're supposed to eat them on Fat Tuesday. So we got our punchkies for Fat Tuesday. All right, we are gonna go ahead and call it a night tonight. Oakley, are you gonna pace tonight or are you gonna go? I think she's gonna pace. Where are you going? We're okay. Well, apparently they're all leaving. The other two dogs are like, we're out. We're going to bed. Oakley's like, maybe I'll sleep down here. You could totally sleep in the bedroom with us, Oakley. We'd love it. All right, you guys, as we said, we're calling it a night.
