As you may know, I traveled to the country of Iran in June of 2022. Over the course of an 11-day road trip, I fell in love with the cuisine and culture, and visited some incredible sites and cities.
I couldn’t have done this trip without the help of Mr. Taster, an incredible man and personality who became like a brother to me over the course of a week and a half.

Mr. Taster and I started in the capital city, Tehran, and headed south through Qom, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz, Lar, Bastak, and to the great ruins of Persepolis!
We explored everything from Iran’s ancient ruins, to its warm and welcoming people, to the incredible Iranian cuisine. Along the way, we tried over 100 dishes including kale pache, ghormeh sabzi, tahdig, tahchin, and their mouthwatering kebabs!
We explored the art of making Persian carpets, tea culture, and the process of making fragrant rose water.
It was one of the most amazing trips of my life and I can't wait to share the journey with you in August! Here is a quick tease to what is to come!!!
