Welcome to the Albanian Riviera! This pristine stretch of coastline, also known as Bregu, is one of the most stunning and most underrated along the Mediterranean. It boasts serene blue waters, enriching historical sites, and dynamic beaches far from the overcrowded hotspots in Spain, France, Italy, and Greece.

First, I’m taking you to Sarandë, Albania’s southernmost city. We’re exploring the diverse sites in and around Sarandë, from the natural beauty of the Blue Eye to the ancient Butrint archaeological park to the stunning turquoise waters of Ksamil Beach. We’re also diving into the city’s succulent seafood, from shrimp crudo to Pasta de Albania to stuffed calamari. I’m even taking you to a nearby mussel farm to show you how local fishermen harvest them before we cook them at a local restaurant!
 
Then, we’re taking a road trip north from Sarandë to explore even more of the coastal towns along the Albanian Riviera. From a restaurant built around a waterfall in Borsh, to the expansive Porto Palermo Castle, to the beaches of Himare, Dhermi, and Palase, we’re diving into it all and so much more!
