This F100's Interior Looks Like a Baseball Glove

Walking you through this 1964 F100 slick side Revival Series build we just finished up. The interior on this one is something different — designed to look and feel like a baseball glove with red stitching throughout. There's a reason for that.

This truck belongs to Jeff Banister, one of the coaches for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He learned to drive in a '64, and when the timing was right, he wanted to get one back on the road without going overboard. No full paint job, no six-figure build — just a clean, driveable truck he can enjoy and take to the ballpark. He's actually picking it up on Opening Day.

That's what the Revival Series is all about. You bring us your truck, we put it on a new chassis, drop in a modern drivetrain, clean it up, and get you back on the road. This one got a brand new Gen 3 Coyote crate motor paired with a 10R80 transmission, air conditioning, LED lighting, and a full interior kit we designed in-house. The door panels, seat, kick panels with working vents — all of it is part of a new interior kit we're bringing to market for 1961–1966 F100s.

We kept this build honest to what Jeff wanted. Original core support, original inner fenders trimmed and cleaned up, factory firewall painted black. The bed has a steel floor someone added years ago over the original wood — we left it for now. It's not about making it perfect. It's about making it his.
Already put 1,000 miles on it and it runs great. Jeff's going to spend a couple weeks with it, and then we'll have him back for a drive video so you guys can hear his story.
