This House Was Poured Like Layers of Rock

At first, it looks like a solid block. But the closer you get, the more you notice something different. The walls are not smooth. They are layered.

The Textures House, in Argentina, was built using exposed concrete poured in different layers, creating an effect similar to geological strata.

It feels less like construction… and more like something carved from the ground.

Inside, the house is organized in parallel bands, with a central space that opens to two courtyards. This allows light and air to move freely through the space.

Nothing is hidden. Structure, materials, and systems are all visible.

A simple idea, but very precise. A house defined not by its shape… but by how it was built.
