Oh my goodness! Wouldn't you love to wake up to this cute face?
I told you guys, every time in the morning, this is what she does.
Good, wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience!
So, a couple of weeks ago, we did a video on our morning routine.
Which, like I said, starts off the same way every time and you guys asked us to do more.
So, let's show you guys our dinner routine.
So, if you guys watched our morning routine, then you already know,
I make the dogs breakfast and dinner at the same time.
But, we're going to go over again, real quick, what it is that we put on their dinner.
So, the first thing we're going to do, is we're going to warm up a little bit of water.
We don't want this boiling. We just want to get it warm.
I don't like putting cold water onto their food and I do soak my dogs food.
Now, for their dinner, they each get a half a cup of dry food.
And then, of course, as I said, we soak it, which I'll show you here in a second.
And if you're wondering what it is that we feed the dogs, we've talked about this before.
We feed Munster Ancient Grains Ocean Formula.
I will put affiliate links for a lot of this stuff down in the video description below,
if you guys are interested.
Now, we're on to the toppers.
Now, the last time I did this, I put the salmon oil on their dinner.
Well, I have new salmon oil that has a very strong smell.
So now, it goes on their breakfast.
But this is the salmon oil that we are now using.
Let's get to what goes on their dinner.
So, the first thing we're going to add is the Myos Muscle Formula for Memphis only.
This is the green-lipped muscle.
She gets three scoops of this.
If you have an older dog and you're worried about their muscles needing a little bit more help,
this stuff is amazing.
We've been using this with her since she had her knee surgery and it has helped her so much.
This next one is also for Memphis only.
This is the seven shrooms from Four Leaf Rover.
She gets three quarters of a teaspoon onto her food.
Next is her favorite CBD oil from Dr. Bob's Botanicals.
This time, I'm using the Harmony, which is very similar to the whisker elixir that I used last time.
I was just out of that.
So, this is pretty much the same, but without chicken in it.
And again, I will put links to this stuff down in the video description below.
Next is a plaque off powder.
Now, this goes on everybody's food.
I usually do like a heaping scoop of this on each of their bowls.
I've been using this stuff for a really long time and I think it works pretty good for their teeth.
Next, both Memphis and Eleanor are getting turmeric.
Memphis gets it due to inflammation and Eleanor, we're trying it with her right now
because of the little bit of issues she's been having with her eyes and allergies.
I was told it might help, so we're giving it a try.
They get three of these on their bowl.
And then, of course, the bone broth.
They each get one scoop of our homemade bone broth onto their food.
If you guys want to know how to make this, I've showed it a couple different times on the channel.
Again, links, you know where to find them.
Then, of course, we add the water to each of their bowls and I pretty much just add enough water to cover this food.
Adding the water just softens this food and makes it a little bit more like a wet food.
It makes it a lot easier for them to digest.
You can see here, I also made their breakfast at the same time.
We are going to add one more thing.
I'm going to take this can of dog food, split it into six and put a little bit on each of these meals.
This is just something that I like to do to give my dogs different types of proteins from time to time
since I no longer switch out their dry food.
So, this just gives them a little bit of variety in those proteins.
So, like I said, I normally make this first thing in the morning
which means I then put lids on it and put it into the refrigerator, but this is a dinner routine.
So, let's keep going.
The next thing we're going to do is we're going to let the dogs outside,
but first we've got to do the squirrel check because it's the season when all the squirrels are back in the yard.
The dogs head outside.
They usually run around and play for a little bit.
While they are outside, I get their lunch ready.
Sometimes Memphis needs her lunch a little bit warmed up.
Sometimes she takes it cold.
Usually I try to give it to her without it being warm and if I have to warm it up, I'll warm it up for her.
Once I have it all ready, it's time to get the dogs back inside and sometimes they don't all want to come in.
Eleanor! You want lunch? You hungry?
Eleanor! Come on!
Now, in case you already didn't know this,
the reason that I make their dinner when I make their breakfast
is because Memphis sometimes goes a little bit crazy at dinner time
and we just don't want her to hurt herself.
And of course, now it is finally time to give the dogs their food.
So, I don't know if you can tell, but I do like stir up the food a little bit
because like I said, I soak it and when you soak it, it kind of all clumps together.
So, I didn't show it, but I do take and stir up the food just a little bit.
Sometimes Memphis is a little bit picky with her food too.
So, I feel like that always helps get that smell moved around again.
I don't know if that's true, but that's kind of how I feel.
So, we give them some time to eat their food.
Now comes the time for everybody to check everybody's bowls.
My dogs are all really respectful when it comes to this.
Like they know when each other's done and they will come in and they will...
Everybody licks each other's bowls.
Like there's nothing left in there, but they've got to check just in case.
When they're all done with that, we pick up all the bowls and they go into the sink.
Wash your pets bowls, people!
Every day, every time after they eat, wash them.
I usually wash them all at the same time.
So, I wash the bowls, the lids and the bully stick holders as well, which you'll see soon.
Once we're all done with that, it's time to relax.
I don't like my dogs to be really active right after eating.
Most of you guys know, we've experienced bloat before.
So, the dogs need to chill out for a little bit.
After they've relaxed for a little bit, it's time to go outside.
Now, the day that I was filming this, it was a little bit cold.
It was about 38 degrees and it was kind of windy.
So, we weren't necessarily going to take the dogs for a walk.
So instead, we'll go out into the yard.
They'll get to play. I went out there with them.
Sometimes we play.
You can see here that Eleanor thinks digging a hole is the greatest thing in the world.
Even Memphis got in on the digging this time around, which was pretty stinking cute.
This isn't something that we get to see all the time.
Normally, she just supervises the holes.
So, we play outside for a little while.
Like I said, on nice days in the summer.
I can do another one of these in the summer.
This would normally be the time we would take the dogs for a walk.
But, since it's cold outside, we're going to head back inside for a special treat.
So, this is something that my dogs get every other day.
I give them bully sticks to help keep their teeth nice and healthy and clean.
I use what you see here, which is a bully stick holder from Everchew.
Again, there will be links and coupon codes down in the video description below for these things.
I love these holders.
One of my favorite things about these is there's this pin lock system.
So, that last little piece of bully stick that I'm always afraid the dogs are going to choke on,
they can't actually get out.
I have to say, I've used a lot of bully stick holders and this is by far my favorite.
I have so many of these.
Also, the people that run the company are amazing people.
And yeah, so the dogs get the bully sticks to get to chew on them.
They just get to enjoy their time chewing on them.
This is a great mental exercise for your dogs as well.
As I said earlier, we couldn't take the dogs for a walk today.
So, this is just another way to really get their brains going.
It takes my dogs usually anywhere between 15 to 25 minutes to finish one of these.
When they get down to the very end, which you can see here, I take them away.
You're probably wondering, what do I do with those little pieces?
I actually throw them in the freezer and I use them in our bone broth.
And it works really, really, really well.
But the dogs absolutely love these bully sticks.
And like I said, I give them to them about every other day.
Sometimes every day, depending on what's going on.
The bully stick holders also end up in the sink, so I can wash everything all at the same time.
And then of course, it's time to go back outside.
Again, at least one more time before the bedtime.
You guys want to see the bedtime routine?
Let me know if you want to see that.
Maybe we'll make that as well.
So, that is pretty much our dogs dinner routine.
I do only feed the dogs twice a day now.
I know some of you that have been here a long time know that I used to feed them three times a day.
We're down to twice a day.
Just seems to be a little bit easier for them.
But yeah, let us know what routine you guys would like to see next.
If you want to see some of our other routine videos, including old ones with the old pack,
I will put links in the video description and at the end of this video.
Thank you guys so much for watching this video.
As always, thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for subscribing.
Stay positive, dream big and we will see you again soon.
Goodbye Pawdience!
