You Are A Nothing! (1 Corinthians Study #11) 1 Corinthians 3:4-9

It’s interesting to do an internet search for an image of the words, “You can be replaced.” Many pictures pop up that take various directions with the words. While it might shock many of us to realize this fact, in many areas, we indeed can be replaced. With technology advancing in the area of AI, it seems that people really are becoming less and less important and replaceable.
In our study today, we find that the Church of Corinth was in dangerous territory as divisions, strife, and envy were taking root over the honoring and promotion of different church leaders. Paul reminded them that their focus was in the wrong place. Ministry leaders come and go and can be replaced. Their focus was not to be on the leader, but on God and the work that He was doing through those leaders. Paul reminds them, and us, that when it comes to being the important factor in ministry, You Are A Nothing!
