Over two thousand six hundred years ago, by the quiet banks of the Nen Liang Thiện River, a solitary figure sat in lotus position beneath a bodhi tree.
In the dim darkness of the black night, the Buddhist scriptures record that it was a moment of tremendous upheaval throughout heaven and earth.
There were no clashing swords, no war cries, yet it was the most brutal conflict in human history.
The battle between Prince Siddhartha and the Lord of Temptation, the Demon King Māra.
What actually happened on that fateful night of enlightenment?
Is the Demon King truly a tangible monster, or does he conceal a deeper psychological secret?
Join us as we turn back time to decode this great moment.
In the absolute stillness of the primeval forest, where the fall of a single leaf can shake a soul not yet at peace.
That solitary practitioner was facing something more terrifying than death itself.
That is the complete dissolution of what people have always called the soul.
Please try to imagine.
After six years of extreme asceticism, reducing his body to nothing but a skeleton.
The faint breath trembling on the brink between life and oblivion,
Siddhartha realized that those extreme paths led nowhere.
Shy to step down into the Nairanjana River, to wash away the dust and filth accumulated over years of error,
Accepting the bowl of milk from the hands of the herding girl Tu Sa Da, he silently walked toward the ancient tree.
At that moment, He was no longer a splendid prince,
is not yet a fully enlightened Buddha.
You are a traveler seeking the truth, with empty hands and an unyielding will.
This is a major shock for those who have always believed that
Truth must be found in distant, sublime places, or amidst dazzling splendors.
No, Truth is standing at the threshold of extreme loneliness.
The solitude beneath the bodhi tree is not the loneliness of one abandoned by the world,
It is the supreme stillness of a mind daring enough to step down from the throne of illusions.
He had left the protection of the Imperial Palace,
abandoning even the expectations of fellow companions, left alone with oneself.
In the thick darkness of the ancient forest,
All things seemed to hold their breath before a resolute vow named Diamond Imperishable.
He spread handfuls of green grass to make a seat.
Facing eastward, they made a vow that shook the boundless Dharma realm with courage.
Even if the blood dries up, the flesh withers, and the bones crumble,
If I do not attain enlightenment, I shall never leave this seat.
That prayer was not the stubbornness of a person seeking honor.
It is the embodiment of boundless compassion toward the suffering of humanity.
He sat there, motionless as Mount Tuzi.
But within the mind, a great flood is raging.
As a scholar deeply versed in the classics,
I see here a journey toward absolute zero.
Are you afraid when everything we once clung to, such as fame,
love, even the notion of who I am
were all stripped away.
Mawang Batusun, the corrupt ruler of the celestial realm,
He would never let anyone escape from his grasp so easily.
But before the Demon King appeared with his army of demons,
The battle had already begun within every fiber of flesh, every vein of Tathadha.
It is the resurgence of memories of bygone glory.
about the warmth of family,
about the fear that all these efforts might merely be a futile endeavor, like trying to build a sandcastle against the tide.
This is precisely the core point I want you to fully grasp.
The King of Hell is not far away,
He is the whispers of stagnation.
It is the sweet voice of contentment and quiet acceptance within each of us.
When we decide to do something good,
deciding to change my life
It will be the old self that rises up and says, "Just rest already."
Go back to your familiar pleasures.
At that time, the Buddha faced all those things directly.
with an unexpectedly calm demeanor,
Afraid to use divine powers to dispel the darkness,
hesitant to use pure awareness to penetrate the illusory nature of them.
The battle against the Demon King beneath the bodhi tree has never ended.
yet still continuing right within our own inner selves.
Therefore, if your true nature has just been stirred by these Buddhist philosophies,
Stay peacefully grounded amidst life's chaos by clicking the subscribe button.
At the same time, sow a seed of goodness through the comment: "Namo Amitabha Buddha."
Just as the Buddha taught, whoever offers a pink lotus flower will always retain its fragrance in their hands.
This karmic connection of yours is the flame that warms and propels the journey of spreading wisdom.
Wishing you and your entire family perpetual peace and happiness in the light of compassion.
We continue to sink into the space of that fateful night.
Where the light of the Diamond Prayer is beginning to burn away the layers of misty ignorance.
Have you ever felt as though you were at a crossroads,
On one side lies the abyss of surrender, and on the other, the pinnacle of relentless effort.
Siddhartha chose a third path, the middle way, the path of balance.
He no longer clings to extreme asceticism.
but also did not return to extravagant indulgence.
He was simply present, a powerful presence beneath the great tree.
In the scriptures, His throne is described as a jeweled lotus throne.
But in reality, at the spiritual port of concern, it is the state of single-mindedness without distraction.
When the mind is settled, nothing in the world can move it.
His loneliness at that moment had transformed into a connection with all things.
You are no longer an isolated individual,
It is an entity vibrating in sync with the Earth's unique rhythm.
Each of His breaths is the breath of a great dragon.
Each beat of His heart is the solitary rhythm of eternal life groaning within the cycle of samsara.
This is precisely when the true horror begins to reveal itself through the image of the Seven-Week Demon King.
King Ma did not appear because he was evil in the way we imagine.
But he is the representative of the system of illusions.
He represents the ego that is always eager to control.
To maintain the existence of the artificial self.
He brought the army of fear,
Those terrifying ghosts symbolize the unwholesome karmic forces we have accumulated since time without beginning.
If Siddhartha still had a little fear, a little desire,
Then the sword of the Demon King will pierce through Him.
Yet strangely, He remained seated there, silent as a still lake undisturbed by ripples.
Please look deeply into this image,
It is not merely a historical or religious event,
It is a practical spiritual solution for all the pains of modern humanity.
When a storm of life strikes,
when criticism, failures, or losses surround you,
What do we usually do?
We often react with anger or flee in desperation.
The Buddha taught us in another way,
Sit still upon your own diamond throne.
That seat is not located in any temple.
but right within the clear awareness of what is happening in the mind.
The profound essence of the night's enlightenment lies in the fact that
The Buddha demonstrated that the greatest power of human beings lies in
not the power to destroy enemies,
It is the strength of being unshakable before illusions.
He does not regard the demon king as an enemy,
He sees them as objects of compassion.
His profound, enlightened gaze left the myriads of demonic soldiers utterly desolate.
Darkness fears not the light,
Darkness vanishes only when light appears.
Tất had not fought against the darkness,
You simply illuminate the lamp of self-aware wisdom.
The deeper into the night, the more solemn and sacred the atmosphere beneath the bodhi tree becomes.
Loneliness has now transformed into absolute freedom.
He no longer desires anything from this world,
Even respect or love.
It was that absolute letting go which transformed Him into a black hole of awakened energy.
Absorbed all the attacks of the demon king and transformed them into fragrant lotus blossoms.
This is the moment when the truth begins to speak.
When the petty self vanishes,
make way for an eternal and pure Buddha nature.
The prince's journey was a journey of renouncing the tangible throne.
to reach the invisible throne of the mind.
It is a shock to those who still relentlessly seek happiness outside themselves.
We often think that we need more of this, more of that, in order to be happy.
but the lesson from the Bodhi Tree teaches that
We need to remove the layers of ignorance so that we can see the precious gem already inherent within ourselves.
The solitude of the Great Awakened One at that time was a powerful affirmation that
Truth can only be found through one's own personal effort.
No one can do it for you, and no one can bestow it upon you.
The dark night still shrouded the Li Lian Shan River in dense mist,
But beneath that tree, a spiritual dawn is just beginning to break.
That is not the light of physical sunlight,
but it is the light of comprehensive awareness.
He stood alone against an entire kingdom of errors.
resist the millennia-old tradition of indulgence
He is the Great Hero not because He conquered lands or enslaved people,
for He has conquered His own heart.
This victory brings us an indelible hope.
those still struggling in the whirlwind of daily survival and the usual worries of life.
If you feel weary from the struggles out there,
Remember the solitary figure beneath that banyan tree.
Remember that you also have a diamond throne within yourself.
a place where no demon king can invade.
If we but know how to return and take refuge in the pure nature within ourselves,
This sacred connection will continue to be deciphered in the moments to come.
When we jointly witness the direct confrontation between the beauty of tranquility and the allure of desire.
Keep your mind truly still, for the greatest story yet remains ahead.
Where light and darkness will meet for a final encounter to determine the fate of all humanity.
When the light of the diamond prayer suddenly flared brilliantly from the depths of the great consciousness of the object.
It was also at that moment that an invisible tremor spread throughout the three thousand great thousand worlds.
The river flowing through Liên Thiền seems to have stopped moving, the bodhi leaves cease their rustling.
making way for a thick, suffocating atmosphere that was utterly oppressive.
Dear friends, light always awakens the darkness.
In the mystical Buddhist scriptures, the appearance of Māra for three weeks is no mere coincidence.
It is an inevitable law of the universe.
When a practitioner approaches the stage of absolute liberation,
That is precisely when the deepest, darkest layers of the mind are disturbed.
The king is not a monstrous creature with sharp horns.
and a sword, soaked in blood from some physical hell, emerged.
From the perspective of prajñā wisdom, Māra is the most authentic reflection of Aññākāra.
also known as the storehouse consciousness,
The place where countless seeds of greed, hatred, and delusion, accumulated through countless eons of cyclic existence, have been stored.
Now close your eyes and imagine,
The darkness enveloping the banyan tree at this moment is indeed the rise of something.
of the most sophisticated defense system created by the ego.
The ego, or the false self, is always desperate for survival.
When the bodhisattva fully decides to completely let go of the notion of the existence of the self,
The ego roared in a final, desperate effort.
The legion of the demon lord, with grotesque forms, carrying deadly weapons on their shoulders
In reality, they are precisely the most bitter and venomous whispers echoing within our own minds.
It is the manifestation of the utmost fear before death.
is an unending regret over a golden past that slipped from reach
and is the anxiety and confusion before an uncertain future.
The king of demons led his troops forward to attack; the sky grew dark as if collapsing.
The storm wind rose up and snapped the trunks of ancient trees.
Thunderclaps split the night sky apart.
But gentlemen, the greatest storm does not lie outside the universe,
Yet the most devastating storm is raging right within the sacred land of the Supreme Teacher.
To enable you to fully comprehend the horror of this war,
I would like to tell you a story,
A legend流传 within the Zen monasteries about confronting one's inner demon.
In ancient times, there was a general who had won battle after battle.
Tay đã nhuốm máu vô số lives to protect the dynasty.
In the twilight of life, realizing the impermanence and sins of war,
He decided to remove his uniform and put on a rough, tattered cassock.
He returned to a deep cave in the remote depths of a secluded mountain valley to practice the path of detachment.
But alas, it was not the sacred forests and poisonous waters that frightened him as much as those long, silent nights of stillness.
Every time he closes his eyes and brings his mind back to his breath,
Then the ghost of those who fell beneath his sword reappears.
They wept and wailed, lamenting the turtle.
They stretch out bleeding hands, demanding blood debt.
That warrior monk had used every possible means to drive it away.
He recited the sutra loudly to drown out the screams.
He used his ten years of cultivation power to suppress those terrifying images.
He burns away the defilements through the fire of wisdom.
The emptier the tea pot became, the more ferocious the demons grew.
They suffocate the air, preventing him from breathing.
Sweat soaked through the entire seat.
Until one night, exhausted and desperate.
He recalled the teachings of his master just before entering parinirvana.
Darkness cannot dispel darkness.
Hatred cannot be overcome by hatred.
The Zen master slowly opened his eyes.
No longer straining to resist.
He looked straight into the angry faces surrounding him.
Tears suddenly flowed freely.
He clasped his hands and bowed humbly, paying homage to those ghosts.
Spoke in a slow, warm, and sorrowful voice.
You have suffered greatly because of our ignorance.
We are not running away anymore.
If this meat and bone can in any way alleviate the resentment in your hearts.
Please come here and receive it.
Right at that moment, boundless tolerance and the deepest remorse arose.
A gentle light emanated from the meditation master's chest.
The scream suddenly turned into the sound of a thousand stars' wind.
The ghosts shattered into tiny specks of light, then vanished into nothingness.
Left in the cave a faint, lingering fragrance and a silence so profound it brought tears to the eyes.
The story of that Zen master is also a mirror reflecting everything completely.
What is currently unfolding beneath the historic Bodhi tree.
Back to the night of the solemn banquet.
When tens of thousands of ghost soldiers from the three realms roared forward toward the Diamond Throne.
They carry the most terrifying weapon of the cycle of rebirth.
Doubt.
The king stands in the void.
Slice the sword of mockery straight through the tathāgata.
Dare you, who are you, to step out from under my rule?
By what right do you demand liberation?
Look at yourself.
You're just a filial son who abandoned his old father.
The husband teaches his young child.
You are a selfish one, evading the responsibilities of a sovereign.
You are full of mistakes.
Your body is frail.
Even if you are alone.
You will never be able to become a Buddha.
Do you find this familiar?
Those are precisely the harsh words we often say to ourselves every time we face failure.
Every time I want to strive to do something kind.
You always know how to find the weakest points.
To carve deeper into the deepest wounds of the soul.
To weaken the bodhisattva's vow of those who seek the path.
Those venomous arrowheads, imbued with the poison of evil ants, shot forth with a swift, piercing rush, slicing through the air straight toward the mortal body of the sage.
But revered assembly, behold how a noble one, fully enlightened, faces the storm of ignorance.
He is not panicked.
He does not open his eyes to emit intimidating glances.
He did not raise his hand and chant a spell to create a magical shield.
He completely relaxed in that fateful instant.
He entered the Hall of Mortuary Contemplation.
Activate the infinite mystical meta energy source.
The Buddha's boundless compassion is not the worldly affectionate attachment of love and pity.
That spirit of great courage is the power of Great Hero, Great Strength.
is the profound understanding that even Mawang Bazu, and that army of demons,
They are merely sentient beings suffering under the domination of afflictions.
You do not look at those roaring demons with the eyes of an enemy.
but with the gentle gaze of a loving father watching his children lost in the delirium of childbirth.
He has compassion for our ignorance.
Pity the desperate efforts of these beings striving to cling to a delusional sense of self.
The divine energy flowed forth from His heart.
enveloping all things in the universe,
forming a radiant and purer halo than the light of a thousand suns.
And then a miracle of the mind revealed itself.
The sharp, venomous arrows of hatred, full of poison
Ghen, doubtful as he just arrived at the station on the edge of that aura of deathly radiance,
Suddenly lost all of its killing intent.
The power of hatred cannot penetrate the wall of unconditional love.
like snowflakes falling into a red-hot pan.
Those terrifying weapons immediately went limp,
Gently rotating in the void,
Then it transformed into countless myriads of lotus flowers.
The fragrant flowers of the network are scattered around His lotus throne, like falling petals.
This event is not merely a cinematic or mythological image.
to praise the mighty power of the Buddha
Yet it holds within it a profound, soul-shaking meditation book.
It teaches us a fundamental lesson about the method of transforming烦恼 (troubles and afflictions).
In this life filled with endless pressures and worries,
We often have to face our own dark legions.
It could be the fear of losing one's job, the fear of illness and disease, the fear of being abandoned by society.
or they could be storms of anger arising from being falsely accused,
Jealousy upon seeing others succeed.
Out of instinct for survival, we often choose to create another darkness to fight against it.
We respond to anger with anger,
use cunning tactics to deal with deception or worse.
We use noisy material pleasures to suppress the fear and emptiness within our souls.
But the Buddhist scriptures have clearly stated,
Repay hatred with hatred, hatreds accumulate; the only way to eliminate darkness is to bring in light.
The best way to overcome mental obstacles is to use mindfulness and boundless compassion.
When fear or anger arises,
Do not drive it away, nor judge it, nor blame yourself for being weak.
Expand your heart's realm, and embrace that thought with the light of non-attachment.
like a kind mother gently holding her screaming child in her arms.
Smile at your fear and quietly say, "I know you're there."
O anxiety, we are tending to you now.
The very moment you accept and embrace even the darkest corners of your own soul,
The king will lose his power to dominate.
At that moment, the fear was no longer a monster waiting to devour you.
but it will obediently become the desired finely chopped, sautéed ingredient,
Nourishment for that lotus of wisdom, blooming splendidly amidst the mud and mire of worldly existence.
The King of Ba Tuan, after all, is not an enemy who obstructs our steps toward Nirvana.
Yet he is actually a great Bodhisattva appearing in the form of an evil demon.
serve as a test of gold.
A messenger of the harshest trial,
Compel the practitioner to awaken the incomparable power of faith and self-enlightenment.
Without mud, there is no lotus; without facing生死 (life and death) in fleeting moments brought by the demon king, there is no enlightenment.
Then great enlightenment cannot occur beneath the sacred tree.
The roaring of the ghostly army gradually faded into nothingness,
The violent power has been completely subdued by the stillness of the heart.
The ethereal petals continue to silently fall down.
blanketing the cold ground
living in space, preserved by an ineffable fragrance that liberates the soul.
The storm has passed, giving way to an utterly serene and profoundly silent space.
Tat Da Dua still sat there, eyes half-closed,
A subtle breath as light as a thread of sky.
Never before has there been such a dramatic upheaval.
All things seem to have stopped moving,
The vast, countless world systems were immersed in a sacred silence.
Awaiting the appearance of the radiant light of wisdom.
In his mind now, there was no trace of the demon lord.
There is no longer any distinction between self and others, between resentment and kindness.
Only a serene silence remains.
vast and boundless like the infinite void,
profound silence, like the ocean's depth, a thousand fathoms deep with no waves.
An absolute stillness,
capable of melting away every hardship of the world,
gently permeating every cell,
every corner of the heart of the willow-walker
At this moment, there are no words left that can express it.
Please let go of your body and mind, dear ones,
Breathe in deeply together
and immerse oneself in this moment of serene purity.
so that silence may seep into every crack of the heart,
healing every sorrow and suffering of the weary, wandering human world.
The mindless storm has just passed,
Return to the Ni Lian River a mysterious stillness.
But, ladies and gentlemen,
That is not eternal peace.
From the profound perspective of someone who has dedicated more than a decade
to disentangle the subtle layers of meaning within Buddhist scriptures.
I want you to understand that,
The stillness right after a storm is sometimes the most terrifying trap.
When King Mara the Threefold realized that,
protective power,
swords of hatred
and the threat of life and death is utterly powerless
before the immeasurable shield of the Great Awakening
He smiled a sinister smile.
He came to understand a harsh truth about the Cycle of Reincarnation.
although the iron and steel chains are heavy,
But people always find ways to break it.
And the chains were woven from soft silk of sweet nectar.
Yet humans willingly bind themselves to it.
and cherish them through countless lives.
That is precisely the ultimate weapon,
more poisonous than swords and knives by ten thousand times,
The sweetness of desire.
The three daughters of the Demon King are lust,
Greed and pleasure,
It's not that emptiness arises from nothingness,
yet they arise from the deepest, most subtle afflictions within.
the volume steps forth beneath exquisite forms
to the point of melting the thousand-year-old ice caps atop Snow Mountain.
Please join me in calming your hearts once more
to see through this dog transformation ruse,
because this is not just a story
over 2,600 years ago from Prince Siddhartha
but it's the story that is currently unfolding
in every breath we take today.
The space beneath the bodhi tree suddenly underwent a transformation,
No longer does the foul stench of the evil legion linger,
instead, a slow, dreamlike fragrance
or intoxicated, entwined with moonlight and breeze.
The deafening roar was piercing and agonizing.
replaced by soothing melodies,
the delicate sound of the erhu and xiao duo
like pouring honey into the ear
like caressing each sense, strained from fatigue.
Three women appeared.
magnificent, delicate robes as thin as gossamer sky threads,
Peaceful beauty advises the nation, advises the city,
with sweet nothings
has the power to break through any force barrier.
Under the light of wisdom,
This woman is the perfect embodiment.
of craving and attachment.
"Kiết" means to tie a knot; "xử" means to command or direct.
Compassionate knots are those entanglements
bound by the fetters of desire,
force sentient beings to wander endlessly
In the cycle of birth and death.
Desire stepped forward first,
She represents the longing to possess affection.
longing to be loved,
is gently soothing the loneliness.
Follow him closely,
Following the illusion of the throne,
of power,
of infinite treasure mountains
representing insatiable greed
The legend of the character "not knowing enough."
And finally, joy,
Carrying along the smooth, heavenly cups of wine,
the pleasures of the flesh and the spirit,
representing longing
lost in pleasure
to forget the pains of existence.
They surround the diamond tower,
whispering enchanting words.
They say you've already won.
You deserve to rest.
deserves to enjoy the rewards
The greatest glory of an omnipotent monarch.
Do you see the shadow?
of the three female demons who are present
even in our own time, isn't that right?
They do not appear in form
of the dancing fairies,
but they hide beneath layers of shells
the sophisticated veil of modern society.
Desire is precisely those intense longings.
recognized on social media
lifeless mouse clicks
to search for a fake interest.
Tham Lam is the race itself.
without cease to obtain
the names of the white balls,
clumps of assets, bulky and irregular
or perhaps we may never use it throughout our entire lives.
Like a wild horse with its eyes blindfolded,
Keep flying recklessly like that forever
in the desert of ignorance,
chasing illusions
of a perfect spring that has never truly existed.
As for pleasure,
That is precisely how we avoid it
the wounds in the soul
through nights of endless revelry,
with stimulants,
by allowing the mind to drift aimlessly
in instant entertainment.
We are hit by waves of dopamine
Cheap and easily swept away,
mistaking it for happiness,
but not knowing that I was drinking salt water
to quench thirst,
The more I drink, the thirstier I get, my throat is completely dry.
Desire is an abyss.
covered in roses
A trap line disguised as something else
A deadly sweet face in the classroom.
To enable you to gain a deeper appreciation
The terrifying nature of clinging threads
These five desires, I humbly venture to say
Tell a story that is hidden away
in the sacred scriptures repository.
The story of a monk who has attained liberation
beaten by evil beasts yet fall before
A single flower. Long ago, the hare,
There was a practitioner who devoted himself wholeheartedly.
You practice in the deep forest.
His virtue was so profound that
the fiercest packs of tiger wolves
When meeting you, he also obediently lowers his head.
Submit. You can endure it.
Eat for months on end, sitting in a fake posture
in the freezing snowstorm sky
yet the mind remained utterly unmoved.
One dry season morning, when sir
strolling along the edge of a crystal-clear lake,
Suddenly, a white chrysanthemum just began to bloom.
emits a fragrance
Infinite purity.
The monk stopped, closed his eyes.
Take a deep breath
and let your mind immerse itself in delight
but the scent it brings.
He smiled to himself, murmuring,
Just a hint of natural fragrance,
Where is there anything sinful?
But right at that moment, the god
The tiger's protective aura suddenly appears.
With a stern face, he spoke words of reproach.
You are a thief, monk.
utterly astonished, silent question
We do not break flowers, we do not touch
Into the water, we only stand on the shore
Breathe in the air of the sky.
Whatever you wish to call me
The thief of fragrance, the god replies.
Just yesterday,
There was a粗鲁的 ferryman wading into the lake.
Break the flower of xen.
Cracked bark, scattered leaves,
Trampling stirred up the water, clouding the stream.
But I never appeared to blame him.
half a word, because of his heart
already dirty, like the black shirt
Being further tainted, there's nothing more to discuss.
As for his virtue and conduct
pure as a white silk cloth,
just a small black dot
arising from attachment and craving
It's enough to ruin an entire lifetime of cultivation.
The attachment to the subtle fragrance and taste
It is a delicate spider's thread.
But if not severed,
It will pull him back around.
the wheel of samsara. Hearing this,
The monk suddenly awoke.
Cold sweat broke out,
Hastily collapsing in gratitude toward the deity
has issued a warning. Esteemed guests,
That story struck straight at the heart.
we, expose a truth
Truly ruthless, these swords
the pain of anger, of hatred
then it is easy to identify and prevent.
But the traps of sweetness,
of subtle hobbies,
of the desires that seem to be
The most harmless thing turns out to be the very thing
The strongest, most solid dam ever built
the pure inherent nature of human beings.
Back to the long night
in stillness beneath the bodhi tree,
when the mother and daughter use all of those
The most captivating charm of the celestial realm
To transform for attack, all will be achieved.
What has it done? This place is incredibly
Important. Please listen carefully.
Carefully, not the slightest bit closing my eyes.
Usually, when facing
with worldly temptations,
reflex of a beginner practitioner
closing their eyes, turning their face away,
Chant the mantra loudly to suppress it.
The craving for something else is stirring within the heart.
But that's only an evasion.
It means using stones to press down the grass.
When the stones are removed, grass grows back.
Grew thick and lush. Great rank
Awakening does not act in such a way.
afraid to open my eyes. But that was not

Sharp and intense. Reluctant to use wisdom.

and helpless, the graceful form
of them began to wither, fake pork
at a terrifying speed, transformed into
those hunched, wrinkled old women
then vanished into dense, dark smoke
retreated, vanished into
The endless night.
This is truly a masterpiece of the spirit.
a gentle solution but
With the power to completely eradicate suffering at its root, it is easy.
what the Buddha left behind for humanity.
In everyday life,
when you face those

Please, dear guests, do not use force.

Their. Extreme pressure

in the consciousness, waiting patiently

Instead, use the
clarity of consciousness to perceive.
Be still, smile
and softly called their names.
I know you're there, O lustful one.
We can clearly see the essence.
the impermanence of you. You are merely
A feeling comes and goes. You
It is not me, and I do not belong.
about a person. When you bring
the lamp of awakening at
the dark chamber of desire,
Darkness does not have to be chased away,
It vanished by itself.
When compassion is pointed out and named,
retreats on its own
make way for a state of peace and tranquility,
Peace and ease, appearing effortlessly.
The night remains profoundly deep,
but beneath the banyan tree,
a pure atmosphere
and crystal clear, unprecedented in history
Humanity is enveloping all things.
The vicious sword has been subdued by the heart.
Four immeasurable minds, sweet nectar
Desire has been rubbed away by wisdom.
The mind of a Buddha now
It is as still as a diamond mirror.
gigantic, not a single machine
Which type of thread can stick?
The clamor of the world
has been completely extinguished,
Only an endless, boundless stillness remains.
But, ladies and gentlemen,
the king for three weeks, the ruler
the realm of unconsciousness, still unwilling to let go
surrender. In the depths
of humiliation, he roared
a cry of desperation, preparing
Launch one final attack.
The decisive blow
in Your existence,
requires a supreme proof
from the universe. I kindly ask you
Keep your heart truly calm.
Let go of all concepts, and simply感受
the subtle breath of one's own self
Flowers in harmony with the pulse of the earth.
For the most sacred moment,
Touching the hand causes trembling.
The entire realm is ready and prepared to begin.
When the last illusions
of the lustful three female demons,
Greed and pleasure vanish into emptiness.
Unlike bubbles scattering upon touching stone,
the entire atmosphere beneath the bodhi tree
suddenly became solidified in
A terrifying silence.
The king for three weeks, the proud hero
Holding the power of the corrupted heavenly realm
self-accusation, now has fallen into
the uttermost end of humiliation.
The arrows of hatred have turned into flowers,
the sweet nectar of decay
has been thoroughly seen through by the wisdom eye,
He has nothing left to hide.
the selfish and domineering nature of their own.
But, ladies and gentlemen,
precisely in the most desperate moment,
with the monsters of the self often launching blows
the most insidious and direct attack.
The king advanced closer.
The shadow of him loomed large
He roared from the top of the diamond tower.
a sound like trembling
the nine heavens and the ten directions of the earth.
A veto-type question
the entire spiritual practice journey
of the enlightened teacher Siddhartha.
You consider yourself a great enlightener,
You consider yourself qualified enough
sitting on this high throne to step forward
free from my cycle of rebirth.
But look at this,
In the desolate, silent forest of abandoned barracks,
Who bears witness to your merits?
Prove that you have practiced.
Is the Dharma of the Lotus Flower truly profound and deep throughout countless eons?
Who can stand guarantee for the truth?
But what did you just find?
The demon king's scream echoed
drift through the vast wilderness,
rushing into the mountain wall,
Then sank into a silent void.
The entire universe seemed to hold its breath.
to wait for an answer.
Please imagine the loneliness
the utmost of Siddhartha at that moment.
There is no god at all
Descending from heaven to protect you.
There is no dazzling light that binds.
from the blue clouds shining down
to prove it to you.
Not even a single disciple was by his side.
to praise and extol.
You stand there,
alone in a world full of people
Doubt and rejection.
This is the final challenge.
of faith and spiritual self-esteem
in our lives.
Have you ever been in this situation before?
When you strive to do good,
when you select
being kind in a society
full of deceit and trickery
Then suddenly, someone points their finger right at your face
and asked, "What are you doing this for?"
Who knows if you're truly kind?
Are you just acting?
Who will bear witness to your kindness?
When everyone turns their back in silence?
That was precisely the blow aimed at their weakest point.
of the mind, the need for recognition
from outside
But, venerable assembly,
The great enlightened one did not use the gate of words.
to distinguish
You do not need praise from the heavenly beings,
nor does it require validation from any entities
Power out there.
From atop the sturdy, seated meditation platform
like Mount Thuri,
Siddhartha slowly raised his hand.
Have to take off the shirt completely.
The slender, elongated fingers,
Soft yet heavy with weight
from countless eons of cultivation
Gently touching down on the cold ground beneath.
That moment,
Space and time seemed to come to a standstill.
in a sacred imprint
but the classic term is "electro-impulse."
Bhumi's Pashamudra.
He remained silent, but His actions
is the most resolute declaration
The motherland will bear witness for us.
Why soil?
Why did You not raise Your hand toward the sky?
But why did you touch your hand to the ground?
From the profound perspective of Buddhist scriptures,
Earth is the symbol of the great earth element,
She is the mother of all beings.
is the place that contains everything
but without judgment.
Please take a look,
How many hardships has this earth endured?
the footsteps of humans
Welcome as many fragrant flowers and sweet fruits as possible,
but also embraces within its heart countless amounts of waste washed away,
waste and blood from war.
The earth has never complained,
Never refused
and has never once demanded repayment.
Land of patience,
the generous land
And the earth is always the most faithful witness to the truth.
Land is the place that preserves
the entire journey of Siddhartha
countless eons of existence.
Each time He gave His own body to feed hungry tigers,
each time He sacrificed His royal status
to save sentient beings,
every drop of His sweat and tears
had poured down during the journey in search of the Dao.
The land bears witness to everything.
The earth does not lie.
Land not manipulated by power
of the demon king.
Land is the most objective and immediate reality.
To help you understand more deeply
On the power of silence
and the witness of the earthly element,
I would like to tell you a story.
About a blind potter from long ago.
He lived in a small village at the foot of a mountain.
Silently every day
kneading the clay to shape it
the sickly little diseases.
The villagers often mocked him.
consider a blind person
Then how can beauty be created?
They doubted his talent.
thinking he's just getting lucky
or false fire.
There was a wealthy and arrogant man.
arrived in front of his house and issued a challenge
Hey, old blind man, who will testify that
Are these illnesses created by your own hands?
Who would know that you didn't hire him?
Someone else did it and claimed it as their own?
The old potter said nothing.
He just smiled faintly and placed
placing my numb hands on
A pile of coarse soil grows beneath the feet.
He spoke softly, the earth knows me.
And I know the land.
What my heart perceives,
My tears have been entrusted to the heart of Mother Earth.
When this illness is forged in fire,
The truth will shine on its own.
and no justification whatsoever.
And just as he said,
when the sickle blades come off the production line,
They possess a beauty that transcends the ordinary.
A tremor that not a single person
Who among the craftsmen could possibly replicate it?
The old man's silence
and trust in Mother Earth
It is the power of truth.
Back to the night of enlightenment,
the moment the master's finger
touch the surface of the globe,
A magnificent phenomenon has occurred.
The scriptures record that
The ground shook violently.
like a thunderclap echoing from the depths.
It was not a devastating earthquake,
Yet it is the joyful sound of truth.
The earth rises up,
echo from the earth
as a vehement response
As for the question posed by the demon lord, I bear witness to you.
I have witnessed countless lifetimes of you.
Sacrifice oneself for a noble cause.
I have preserved the good seeds.
and sowed by you.
You are fully deserving
with the seat of enlightenment.
The pride of the demon king
Completely collapsed before the utmost humility of Siddhartha.
He was horrified to realize that
before a person who has deeply taken root
in the present reality,
All the demonic powers he possesses
all become meaningless
like mist and clouds before the wind of the vast highland.
The Buddha's gesture of touching the earth with his hand
a spiritual solution
in reality for human beings.
We live in a world full of deceit,
manipulation and fictitious values.
We are living in an era
Yet everyone desperately tries to scream
to prove their worth
Everyone wants to show off their achievements.
flashy on the surface
to gain the nods of approval from the world.
But, gentlemen,
When the storm surge arrives,
when doubt surrounds you,
Those initial words will vanish like morning mist.
Lesson from the Touch of the Earth
teaches us that
Don't try to prove yourself to anyone
by argumentation.
Turn back and cling tightly to the truth of yourself.
Let silent actions speak for you,
good deeds,
Integrity and sincerity
But you have silently nurtured the courage to speak up.
Truth does not need protection.
of the source from
The truth is just to be alive
and carried out.
When you live in accordance with your conscience,
when your mind is as calm as the包容ent earth,
This entire universe will become
a support and a witness for you.
King of the Dead for Three Weeks
His army corps had been completely defeated.
They scatter like autumn leaves.
leave a space
Clear to the very essence of purity.
Siddhartha still sat there,
Your hand still gently touches the ground, mother.
A perfect connection
between human beings and the vast universe.
At this moment, the darkness of ignorance
torn apart
and the first rays of wisdom
began shining into the darkest corners
of life.
He began to see the flow of causality.
Seeing the arising and passing away of all phenomena,
See the way out
free from the cycle of suffering in human existence.
This is the moment of silence
no longer the silence of death,
but it is a vibrant stillness
of a new life gestating.
Please welcome our esteemed guests
In this very moment
Place your hands on your heart
or the sensation in the soles of the feet
Touching the ground.
Let patience and tolerance prevail.
into every vein, deeply soaked into the motherland.
Let go of every need to prove yourself,
Every fear of being judged.
Let the truth be revealed
Heal the wounds caused by doubt.
When you find your footing
in one's own place
where good values have been sown,
You will see that
I am never alone.
The dawn of wisdom is gradually emerging
at the horizon of consciousness
and the greatest story in human history
approaching the final chapters
of splendor and perfect liberation.
The silence at this moment
is the language of the Buddha,
It is the melody of truth.
Inviting us to step into a realm of the heart free from sorrow,
Only the light of the death star remains
and boundless wisdom.
When the aftershocks of the roar
from the womb of the earth, gradually settling down,
All things on this river are intimately connected.
also sank into a state of stillness
Never before in human history.
Three-week king
Together with the army of darkness, they have disbanded.
like the scattered clouds before the sunlight
restore a pure space,
where only breath remains
of the great canyon and the heartbeat
of a heart that has utterly shattered.
Dear esteemed guests,
This is the most sacred moment.
When the long night of ignorance
began to be torn apart
by a beam of light not coming from outside
but flaring up from the very root of consciousness,
Siddhartha still sat there.
motionless beneath the bodhi tree.
But within Him
a great revolution of wisdom
occurring at the speed of light.
In the midst of that mysterious night of wine,
when all things
Just as he sank into a deep sleep,
His mind became crystal clear.
like a diamond without a flaw.
In that absolute silence,
He attained the divine eye of recollecting past lives.
The entire film of countless eons of life
from a distant past
Suddenly appeared clearly before His eyes.
Who do you see yourself as having been?
What form did it once have?
How much pain I have endured
and enjoy how many illusory joys.
He sees the thread of cause and effect.
throughout countless eons of lifetimes
like a river flowing endlessly.
This is not curiosity.
about the past
but it is a shock to wisdom
when realizing that this ego
In reality, it is merely a temporary assembly.
of the causes and conditions that plant hanging.
Please imagine,
when we realize we've played millions of roles
different on the stage of life,
We will no longer cling desperately
into this current role as well.
Spontaneity begins to sprout
from that very profound understanding.
Entering the second watch,
when the night grew thick
and most chillingly,
He attained the divine eye's clear vision.
His eyes are no longer
limited by space and time.
He sees arising and passing away.
of all sentient beings throughout the three realms
The Great Heaven World.
He sees the virtuous person born into a blessed realm,
The wicked are swept away.
caught in the whirlpool of suffering.
Everything operates according to a fair rule.
and ruthless, named karma.
He sees the suffering of humanity.
not a fate imposed upon us,
but it is the result of choices
A mistake in an endless delusion.
A vast, unwavering heart of compassion
like the ocean ablaze within His heart.
You no longer look at life
with a judging eye
but with the eyes of a person.
He saw his children struggling.
in the labyrinth they themselves created.
And then, when the third watch of the night drew near,
as dawn's first light began to break
far away on the horizon,
The greatest moment has arrived.
He attained the knowledge of the destruction of defilements.
All leaks of烦恼,
All traces of greed, hatred, and delusion
Completely wiped out.
The chain of the twelve nidanas,
the vicious cycle revolving around ignorance
leading to a death that was completely severed.
He thoroughly understands the profound truth of the Dharma.
understand clearly the essence of suffering
The cause of suffering,
the state of ending suffering
and the path leading to that liberation.
That moment,
Siddhartha was no longer a prince.
No longer a practitioner.
He officially became a Buddha.
the supreme perfect enlightenment,
a fully awakened human being
You are not a deity.
falling from the sky,
but he is a flesh-and-blood human being
dared to go through the darkness
for oneself to find the light
Suchness right at the heart of reality.
The radiance of awakening
emanating from Him,
It stirred the entire Dharma realm with courage.
The scriptures record that,
At that very moment, the entire大地 bloomed with flowers,
Sowing joy among all beings
and a reverberating message
Strange indeed, all sentient beings
All possess the physiognomy of wisdom of the Tathagata.
only because ignorance obscures
so it couldn't be seen.
Please calm your hearts down
to feel this statement
It is not merely a statement,
It is an invaluable gift.
for each of us.
It affirms that within you,
No matter how many pains one carries,
How many feelings of guilt or mistakes,
the precious gem of wisdom awareness
always present
Just waiting for a single instant of awakening to shine brightly.
Dear listener,
The Buddha's journey
Beneath the bodhi tree is not

but it is a guiding map
to the course of our own lives.
Each of us is sitting right now
beneath the bodhi tree of one's own.
Those are the dark corners within the soul,
they are the demons of anxiety,
they are the female demons of temptation
Material wealth and fame.
We often go in search of light
the stars are in distant places,
but the lesson from the night of enlightenment teaches that
That light is right there, at the tip of the hair.
You dare to look straight into the truth,
Let go of illusions
about the false self to return to the true self
with pure inherent nature.
Before closing the epic saga
of this awakening,
Let us carry it out together.
