Giant Grenada Golden Tilefish (Catch, Clean, Cuisine)

On this episode, we set out on our second day jigging and deep dropping around Reindeer shoal in Grenada. The day started slow and the current was absolutely ripping through the whole water column, so we couldn't get much jigging done in the shallows. We managed to bag a few nice yelloweye (silk snapper) and other bottom fish in the 450-600 ft. range just at the edge of Reindeer. Then we finally went hunting for a golden tilefish in the afternoon in around 1100 ft of water when things calmed down and we got a monster!!! That golden was not only my first ever, it was pushing 30+ lbs. A beautiful 17lb queen snapper followed shortly after and sealed the day.
