Germany relishing England test in Euros final: 'It will be a great football feast'

Yes it's going to be a fantastic football festival It's a classic in football England Germany and what England has shown here in this tournament That's naturally brilliant Every game fought to the very end with full dynamism A great many goals scored They brim with confidence They know exactly what to do and what to avoid But the first 30 minutes against Sweden also showed at one can also hurt them That will be our mission to do just that And we're playing at Wembley Stadium I think in front of about 90 000 people Probably very very many who are for England and just a few who are for us But we take that entirely on board And I know that Sarina is an amazing coach And so I don't think it's really about the coaching at all We know each other well We now also understand the strengths of the teams and the squads Again I believe it will come down to small details Pushing for results maybe even getting a bit of luck making fewer mistakes But we know exactly what lies ahead And for that reason we'll be prepared there I believe we both have great respect for each other And Sarina has already proven in the Netherlands that she can lead a team to an European Championship title It would be nice if that stayed with the title I think it can't get any better I believe we all wished for this even before the tournament That we're in the final and now also playing against England I think that will be a real test a real challenge against them And the atmosphere will simply be absorbed and converted into energy Then we'll just try to ramp up the intensity once again just like we've done in the previous games and just throw everything back in Honestly a bit speechless Yes incredibly proud of what we brought onto the field again driven by unbelievable energy once more with a defensive effort that was truly brutal And going forward one must say yes perhaps not perfectly executed in one or two of the final or penultimate passes But when were in front of the goal it was always extremely dangerous and yes overall I think it was deserved in the final
