CCP-Linked Telecom Firm Fined $50M for Motorola IP Theft

A five-year legal battle is finally reaching a conclusion.

A Chicago federal judge just fined Chinese telecom company Hytera 50-million dollars for conspiring to steal technology from Motorola Solutions.

That's according to a Monday federal court press release.

The company's ties to the Chinese Communist Party are also under scrutiny.
